This is a great Blue Spinel, bought right here a week ago for $400. It is a nice stone, well-cut, nice blue color during the day shifting to violet at night (flourescent). Stone weighs a hair over a ct, and measures 8.1x6.5. It is nearly eyeclean, just some tiny bubble inclusions, I can barely make them out. I know I just bought this, but I was just offered a bigger one that I couldn't turn down. I don't need this one and it deserves a better home. I am selling this at a loss...when there is no need to--I bought this stone cheap to begin with...but Im looking for a quick sale. I am unable to accept returns, but I do feel the photos are very accurate. In fact, previous PSr was gracious to allow me to reuse her pics....they are much better than mine!

This is a really nice red Garnet, Precision-Cut by Dan Stair. I would describe it as Medium-Dark, excellent saturation and cutting. It has a bright Red, only very slight orange (if any). This is the closest to Red that I have seen in a Garnet, without being as dark as an Anthill. I believe it to be a Malaya (Mixed Species). It weighs 1.31ct and measures 6.5mm. The stone is eyeclean. This is a nice Anthill Garnet, from Arizona. It was purchased originally from Linton. It measures 6mm and weighs a hair over a ct. This is a red Oregon Sunstone. THe body color is a bright Orangy-Red, and it has awesome Red-Red Flash. It has minimal schiller, barely seen and not distracting. Otherwise, the stone is flawless. This is a much nicer stone in person--Orange is impossible to photograph accurately. This stone weighs 2.43ct, and measures 11x8mm. It was precision-cut by Dan Stair into a brilliant pear. The stone is a deep color, almost a burnt-orange body color. It has excellent bright Orange flash. A darker but pure Orange, there is no red in this stone. It is really darker than pumpkin, but lighter than burnt Orange. If you like rich colors, with this cutting, you will love this stone. This is a 2.37ct Indicolite (Blue) Tourmaline. It is an 11x5mm Emerald Cut, and is special because it is a pure, Navy blue. There is no green in this stone. Most of these have some hint of green. This is a dark stone, but it has the nice blue flash that is seen in the photos. The flash is a deeper blue though, not quite as neon as depicted. It is still a very beautiful dark blue gemstone, which is one of the rarer and most expensive types of Tourmaline. The pictures show some inclusions, but these pics are heavily magnified--these inclusions are not seen unless you have a loupe or have the stone up to your eyeball. This is a cute little glowy "Paraiba-type" (Light Blue Tourmaline) from Mozambique. It is a pastel blue, and carries a glow even in very low lighting conditions. This is a pretty good native cut, a 5.5mm Checkerboard-topped Square, and it weighs a hair over a ct, at 1.01ct. It is eyeclean or very close to it, which is hard to find with this material. There are inclusions easily seen with a loupe, however (10x). My asking price is low for this stone, as I have not had it tested for Copper Content. I'm selling one of my JXR Amethysts. This one has excellent, deep Purple color with Blue Flash. JXRs are hard to find with good saturation, and this one is also precision-cut in the US by Jerry Call. The stone, 3.45ct, is a cut-cornered Square Cushion, 8MM. It has a very high crown, allowing for nice light return. If you do a search on PriceScope, you will find some history of this stone that dates back to 2009, as I bought it from a PS'r who bought it originally. I had thought about setting it for myself, but I have quite a few JXRs and Im trying to raise money for an upcoming purchase. I paid $200 for it, and I feel that was a GREAT price for the stone, so that is what I am looking to get back from it. It has never left the gem jar other than for pictures, so it is in excellent condition. It should be noted that this material often has eye-visible inclusions, this stone has none under normal viewing (ie without a loupe). This is a pretty nice example of Rainbow/Blue Moonstone, in a nice larger size. The stone has nice light blue pillows of color, and a slight bit of rainbow color as well, of course it all depends on the lighting and angle of view. The stone has a pretty transparent base, with only a few lines (essential for the effects) visible upon close examination. I am a huge fan of Blue Zircon...and I have more than a few! I have decided to sell the 'big boy'. Stone is 7.38ct, and measures 10.86x8.77. It is a nice medium blue, no green in this one. This is a nice pair of natural Garnets from Mali, Africa. These Malis are a nice, bright greenish-yellow in real life. The camera saw gold, but they are not gold. In addition to nice color they have strong dispersion! First stone is 1.81ct and measures 7.9x6.1. Second stone is 2.14ct and measures 8.25x6.71 I am not a jeweler, but to my eyes, they look to be close enough for earrings, or mother/daughter rings, etc. They are very very close in color (more so than the pics). Im selling some of my colored stones in my collection, and two awesome JXRs. This is one of them! This one is 4.42ct and measures a calibrated 12x10 oval. This is from Brad at the Gem Trader, so it is has an excellent cut. Like all JXRs, it has a nice blue component. A lot of the more recent JXRs on offer at TGT do not have as strong a saturation as this stone has. It is medium to medium-dark in tone (to my eyes) and is a hair lighter than the square cushion but equal in saturation. This is a nice baby pink Ceylon Spinel,which I bought as a native-cut stone and had it recut by Dan Stair. I had been on a quest for a white Spinel, and I bought this one for that project. Unfortunately (for me!) it has just a tinge of pink. I'd call it a very pale pink. I purchased it as an Asian-Step cut stone, and I had it recut by Dan Stair into a brilliant-style antique cushion. It has lots of fire and brilliance...very pink-diamond like. This stone is nicer in hand than the pictures show!! This is an Indicolite (blue) Tourmaline, from Nigeria. It has not been tested for Copper Content (some of the Nigerian stones were Cuprian) but it does have nice glow. The stone is a light blue color, very much like a nice Aquamarine. It was a typical pencil-shaped Tourmaline crystal (long and skinny) in the rough, and I decided to have it cut into an Octagon, with some scissor facets to make it interesting. It was precision-cut in the USA by John Miller. I have a low price on the stone due to the extreme dimensions (10x3.5 I think--need to measure) and the inclusions. The stone has an excellent cut, and measures 10mm across in a square cushion. It is eyeclean. The color is a deep, saturated Purple. It has strong blue tones in natural light and more of a red/pink component in flourescent light. It is a dark stone, for sure, but never appears black...just a very strongly saturated velvety purple. I've gone back and forth about having this stone heated to blue, but I decided to offer this to someone else who may appreciate it for the color it is, or someone who wants to take a chance at what color it will produce. I was lucky enough to be able to source two Luc Yen Spinel crystals within the last year. I had both stones cut by AGTA Spectrum-Award winner Jean-Noel Soni into two beautiful, albeit smaller gemstones. These are the very rare, coveted Electric-Blue untreated Spinels from the Luc Yen region of Vietnam. I've decided to sell one of the stones! The one up for sale is a custom rose-cut Trillion, it weighs .60ct and measures 7.36x5.97mm. It can be set as a standard faceted stone, but there is no crown. This was done to preserve as much size and weight as possible for this very rare material. There are eye-visible inclusions in the piece, but I do not think they detract from the vivid Cobalt-Blue Color of the stone. Its difficult to tell from my pics, but this is a transparent stone (I can see how my pics make it look opaque--trust me, it is very much a transparent stone, with probably an Si1 clarity IMO. This listing is for a beautiful Unheated Tanzanite. It shows a very strong overall violet color, but there is blue coming from each side. It is a striking stone, with a lot of rolling flash. The stone weighs 1.88ct, and measures 10.77x5.62. It was precision-cut by Jordan Wilkins of Faceting Fantasies. He did a great job with the long, narrow piece of rough. The color is very nice. The stone is eyeclean, too. There is a teeny, tiny chip in the girdle that was left in to preserve size of the stone. You cannot see it face up, and I do not think it would affect the stones integrity if it was to be set. For that reason, I am asking $300 for a stone that should retail for $500+. 1.82ct Purple Sapphire, slight silk, eyeclean, and measures 8.13x5.62x4.87. This was a recut by Dan Stair. It has very strong saturation, and shifts a lot from bluish-purple in daylight to pinkish purple in incandescent. This listing is for a 6.1ct Freeform Welo/Etheopian Opal. This is a very high-quality stone, cut by an American Opal Cabber (Jeff Schultz) and done to a very fine polish. The stone is free of flaws or defects, and has very fine color play throughout the stone. What adds to its value and interest is the honeycomb pattern--really beautiful. For sale is a gorgeous Merelani Mint Garnet. I bought this as a native/commercial-cut stone, and had Dan Stair recut the pavillion to close the window that it had. The color is very good, a light green. Sometimes it picks up a tinge of blue, but most of the time it is a pure light green. It is not a yellowish green despite my photo. The stone is at least eyeclean...extremely clean stone. Whats amazing about this gem is the size. While it does have a pretty shallow crown, the faceup size is really large for the ct weight. If you like yellow, this Mexican Apatite is just about the nicest pure yellow I've seen. Danburite is a great gem if you are unfamiliar with it. It has nice brilliance, durability similar to Quartz (so its suitable for all jewelry purposes aside from an everyday ringstone), and its always untreated. It comes in Colorless, very pale pink, and everything from a pale yellow to a very intense yellow. This, being the pale yellow, is the least costly of the yellows but, unlike the very saturated ones, it doesn't have the rutiles inside so its very clean and brilliant. It even shows some dispersion. I had this piece of rough cut by John MIller (finegemcutting.com) and its a beautiful 7.6mm trillion. For Sale: 2.49ct Tsavorite Garnet,9.5x7mm (!!)Precision-Cut by Gene Flanigan at Precision Gem. Seeing if there's any interest. Its a beautiful stone--medium to medium-dark tone and strong saturation. It has the slight blue modifier, no yellow. Gene gave it a 9/10 for color and 8/10 for clarity. The stone does have sugar inclusions, not easily visible or distracting. Green is impossible to photgraph accurately, not to mention the inclusions which get blown up by the magified pics. I'm asking $2000 and I will include shipping with insurance. For Sale: 1.46ct Tsavorite Garnet, Precision-cut by Dan Stair, some inclusions but faces much cleaner than the magnified picture. The inclusions that are visible are way in a corner..would be totally covered by a setting. This is Dan's picture which shows off the fine faceting. However I do feel the color is coming across too light compared to how it is in hand. This is a medium-toned Tsavorite with moderately strong saturation and a pure green. It does not have a blue modifier nor does it have any yellow. Prices of this material have skyrocketed. I was able to snag this piece reasonably and had Dan recut it and it is transformed. .68ct Sapphire--Peridot Green Color! Untreated! $150 — $3 USA or $6 International Shipping I have never seen a Sapphire do such a nice impersonation of a Peridot. If you have been wanting a Peridot for a ring stone, but didn't want to worry about its durability issues, then here you go! Its very well cut, as you can see, and extremely clean--at least Eyeclean. I haven't had it certified, but I stand behind this stone as being untreated and from Madagascar. This is a round brilliant cut, and it measures 5.8mm. I see no problem why it couldn't fit a calibrated 6mm setting with a little tweaking. Very rare find. It is not brownish, bluish, or overdark like most every other green Sapphire I've seen. It is a beautiful green. Excuse my mediocre photography.

These are usually very dark, unattractive browns, and are most often found in very shallow crystals. They are especially hard to cut and so you just don't find nice ones very often. I happened upon one that looked like it had a nice tone, with enough depth for a recut. I am REALLY happy with the results--this was done by Robert Heath who specializes in softer or difficult stones to facet. I do not think you will find a nicer Enstatite gemstone for sale, this one is shimmering upon movement, with different looks of orange and yellow in its brown body color. Eyeclean+ and untreated.

This is a beautiful big blue Precision-Cut Tourmaline set in 14k Yellow Gold, size 8 (sizable) with .41ctw side Diamonds (sold as E-VS but not certed). The stone is a stunning large 8.7mm, high crown, tons of sparkle and weighs almost 3ct. It is loupeclean, and shifts from a bright blue to teal to a stormy, greyish blue.
