Gorgeous very pale blue Aquamarine with excellent clarity of crystal--cut by Christiane Morin in a custom design based on the Old European Cut used for Diamonds and other stones from around 1890-1930s. It combines a high crown, chunky facets, and a deep pavillion. Note the open culet! The culet is smaller than it appears in the magnified pictures, which are also showing black reflections of the camera making it appear larger than it is.

A benefit of this style of cut is it creates a lot of dispersion off the crown--giving this Aquamarine a lot of fire and life!!
