Pavillion Re-Cut by Christiane Morin, it has TONS of sparkle!
Measures: 8.0x6.2mm Oval, Should fit Calibrated 8x6
Clarity: Eyeclean, some very small rutiles under 10x but not seen by naked eye
If you've been after the perfect Silvery Grey Spinel, here you go! They are almost impossible to find without being overly dark (Gunmetal, etc) or overly lavender/purple...especially as they shift toward purple in Incandescent. This one is always grey....with an ever so slight bluish tone in daylight that is gone in incandescent. This is as "grey" as it gets IMO.
This was a commercial-cut stone which had the pavillion re-cut to a brilliant-style to give it the sparkle and performance that Spinel is capable of.
