This listing is for a beautiful Unheated Tanzanite. It shows a very strong overall violet color, but there is blue coming from each side. It is a striking stone, with a lot of rolling flash.

The stone weighs 1.88ct, and measures 10.77x5.62. It was precision-cut by Jordan Wilkins of Faceting Fantasies. He did a great job with the long, narrow piece of rough. The color is very nice.

The stone is eyeclean, too. There is a teeny, tiny chip in the girdle that was left in to preserve size of the stone. You cannot see it face up, and I do not think it would affect the stones integrity if it was to be set.

For that reason, I am asking $300 for a stone that should retail for $500+. This rough isn't cheap, and this is a premium cut.

If you like violet, you will absolutely love this stone.
