I've gone back and forth about having this stone heated to blue, but I decided to offer this to someone else who may appreciate it for the color it is, or someone who wants to take a chance at what color it will produce. I am pretty sure it will heat to blue, just not sure what tone.

Anyways, this is what Blue Tanzanite looks like before it is heated (there are some natural blues, too, but this is not one of them). I would describe the color primarily as a golden/caramel color with a pinkish secondary.

The stone measures 8.1x7.9 in a square cushion-cut, and weighs 2.21ct.
