I had been on a quest for a white Spinel, and I bought this one for that project. Unfortunately (for me!) it has just a tinge of pink. I'd call it a very pale pink.

I purchased it as an Asian-Step cut stone, and I had it recut by Dan Stair into a brilliant-style antique cushion. It has lots of fire and brilliance...very pink-diamond like. This one is eyeclean under the naked eye (but not under a loupe)

The stone weighs 1.62ct and measures 7.8x6. I do feel it would probably fit a calibrated 8x6 setting.
