This listing is for a beautiful neon yellow Apatite...unheated/untreated material from Durango,Mexico. This is not the heated material that you see in the blue/blue-green hues.

I bought a 21ct clean crystal and had it cut into this beautiful, flawless 12mm trillion by John Miller, an excellent American lapidary. The stone weighs 5.43ct.

The color was next to impossible to photograph. Ive included my pictures, and also Bob Sivinski was kind enough to take a few for me from his setup. Overall my pics (outdoors) show the stone too pale and his show the stone too dark. The stone is a very saturated slightly greenish-yellow, not unlike a fine Chrysoberyl. It also seems to want to reflect back everything around it..beautiful stone.
