This listing is for a beautiful, large Umbalite Garnet. Umbalite is a mixture of Pyope, Almandine, and Spessartite Garnet. This results in a brilliant, purplish-pink gem in daylight, leaning toward purple in incandescent. It is medium-dark in tone...not overdark like many of these.

This stone weighs 3.29ct, and measures 9.25x7.71mm in a Portuguese-Round. Nice cutting, no window, really a great stone.
