For sale is a fun and unusual pair of 18K yellow gold and rose cut diamond earrings that I had made by OnestoneNY on Etsy.
He calls them "anemone" style, and they are a bit reminiscent of anemones....each have 3 bezel set rose cut diamonds in a cluster, with closed backs. The diamonds are each approximately 2 mm in diameter, with nice sparkle. He estimated them to be VS -SI in clarity and with color of F-H, but I would put them at H-I, personally. They are currently listed at $445.00 plus shipping on Etsy.
Each cluster is approximately 4.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 and they have screwbacks for pierced ears.
Here's a link to the original listing on Etsy:
https://www.etsy.com/transaction/116341942
I love them, but seem to wear my gold hoops all the time...so, time for these to head to a home where they will get more wear.
Priority insured shipping is included in the price for shipping within the US. Sales are final, so please ask as many questions as you like...
Thanks!

These are absolutely stunning old mine cut diamond earrings...they are silver topped 18K yellow gold with 14K gold posts and backings. (they are way more sparkly than I could capture in my photos!)
There are 9 chunky old mine cut diamonds in each stud, for a total of 18 diamonds in the pair and an estimated total carat weight of 2.76 carats.
The center stones are each approximately .50 carats, or so (4.8 to 5 mm in diameter) and are set in milgrain edged bezels. Bright and very fiery, I would judge their color to be in the H-I range of near-colorless and they "face up" very white. Beautifully eye-clean, I do see a few inclusions under my 14x loupe, along with a few nicks...though nothing that I can see with my naked eye and nothing that distracts from the brilliance and beauty of the stones.
Eight smaller old mine cuts are bead-set around the central stone in a daisy or halo style, with more milgrain decorating the edge of the settings. Each smaller diamond measures approximately 3.0 to 3.4 mm in diameter, for another approximately .88 carat weight in each earring. (so an estimated 1.38 carats per earring, and an estimated 2.76 carats for the pair. They could actually weigh slightly more than this given their chunky old cuts.) Matching nicely in color, I would judge them to be in the H-I-J range of near-colorless, and again, they are extremely bright and fiery. Most of the stones are very clean, though I do see a few with small inclusions visible under my 14x loupe. One stone has a larger chip or surface "natural" that I can almost see with my naked eye, if I know where to look and hold the earring in just the right way, in just the right lighting. Otherwise they are eye-clean and in very good condition. Their little bead settings do show wear, and I would recommend having them retipped.
With a large and very sparkly presence, the studs measure approximately 12 mm in diameter, or approximately half an inch in size.
The posts are 14K gold and screwbacks for security, and the backings are 14K white gold. I believe that these were once the larger bottom drops for a pair of antique earpendants and were converted to studs at some time in the past. They could easily be converted to a dangling style and would be lovely as a leverback style earring. The backings are marked for 14K gold, the rest of the earrings are unmarked. The total weight of the pair is a nice 3.65 grams.
Express insured shipping within the US is included in the price. For other locations, please message me....Thanks and Happy Holidays!

This is a great vintage Tiffany & Co. platinum diamond engagement ring that I acquired recently along with two other older Tiffany diamond rings...this ring comes with it's original inner and outer boxes, as well as the original diamond certificate.
- round brilliant cut diamond measuring 4.96 - 4.98 x 3.04 mm, and weighing .45 carats
- color is I in the near-colorless range
- clarity is VVS1
I see no damage to the diamond under magnification and all 6 prongs look good with little to no wear.
Only very, very light signs of superficial wear are present....the platinum could be buffed and polished to look new, if desired.
Simple and substantial, the band is elegant and shows no thinning or signs of having been sized in the past. Inside it is marked "Tiffany & Co." and "PT950" as well as with the diamond's registration number and carat weight. (that matches the number on the accompanying diamond certificate) The total weight of the ring is a nice 3.35 grams.
Just between size 4.5 and size 4.75, this ring could be sized by a good jeweler.
Shipping within the US via Express insured mail (usually 2 business days to most locations) is included within the price. If you live somewhere else, let me know and I will look into shipping regulations and costs.
Please ask any questions as purchases through LT are final....I do have an Etsy shop where you can read my feedback, and as loupetroupe sometimes has messaging issues, please contact me through Etsy:

This gorgeous and super sparkly ring has a wonderful octagonal halo design featuring a total of 23 bright and sparkling European cut diamonds with open culets....with a total estimated carat weight of approximately 1.00 to 1.10 carats, or so. I'm still trying to get good photos....the diamonds are very white, bright and fiery - so much so that getting good photos is challenging.
** If you have trouble messaging me through LT, please contact me at my Etsy shop: www.franziska.etsy.com. Thank you! **
Details:
Platinum (10% iridium platinum)
Central diamond a little over 3 mm in diameter, estimated at approximately .12 carats...maybe a little more given it's older cut with open culet, color judged to be in the G-H-I range of near-colorless, eye-clean and very clean under magnification, very good condition with one one *extremely* tiny nick, seen only under magnification....a very fiery old diamond.
8 fiery OEC's make up the inner halo, each are bead set in milgrain settings, they measure approximately 2.3 to 2.5 mm in diameter....well matched color to the central stone, eye clean with a few clear inclusions in some stones seen only under magnification. (nothing that at all detracts from their fire) I see no damage to these stones and the milgrain is still very crisp...their bead settings do show a little wear.
14 more sparkly OEC's create the outer halo, with the same size as those in the inner halo, and matching color. All eye-clean, a few clear inclusions are visible under magnification in a few stones and when looking carefully with magnification I see two diamonds with small chips and one with a very, very tiny nick. Some of the bead settings do show some wear, some look really good, still. Much of the milgrain is crisp, though it shows more wear around the outer edge of the ring.
This ring is large on the hand!! The face is approximately 18 x 18 mm and has a rise off the finger of approximately 4.8 mm at it's highest point. The gallery has nice pierced work to let in light and is contoured to fit the finger comfortably.
The band is substantial (and may or may not be original), currently with two 14K white gold sizing balls that can be removed. Inside the band is still marked for 10% iridium platinum. It weighs a hefty 6.30 grams and is approximately size 5.25 with the sizing balls removed, and fits me like a size 4.75 with the sizing balls. (there is one tiny hairline that does not go through the band, at the shoulder where it meets the face of the ring. I will either have my bench jeweler laser that spot before shipping, or I can deduct $100.00 if you'd like to have your own jeweler do it....just let me know.....
The price includes insured priority shipping within the US...if you live elsewhere, please message me to discuss options and costs....Thank you!

I'm offering this beautiful and classic emerald cut diamond ring that I found at auction...it's in wonderful condition and features three fine quality emerald cut diamonds...
Details:
Solid 14K white and yellow gold (the band is yellow gold, the head and prongs are white gold)
Three natural emerald cut emeralds, measuring approximately 5.42 x 3.83 mm for the center stone, and approximately 4.5 x 2.8 mm and 4.46 x 2.8 mm for the side stones, with an estimated total carat weight of approximately .91 carats. (I have not removed the stones from their settings) On the hand, the face without the shoulders is approximately 5.8 x 15.3 mm and has a rise off the finger of approximately 4.6 mm
Color estimated to be I-J-K range, a bit of warmth under magnification but very white to the naked eye and very bright and sparkly
Clarity was estimated at VVS2-VS1 by a GIA Gemologist
Wonderful condition - no nicks, chips or scratches to the diamonds
Basket settings and prongs are in good condition, with only light wear
Band has never been sized and is sturdy and substantial, marked "14K" and with the stylized "S" maker's mark of Stuller, total weight of the ring is 2.95 grams, and it's a sizeable size 7.
(I'm still trying to get photos that really do it justice...the diamonds are just beautiful and clear like water.)

This beautiful pair of lever back diamond earrings is a classic style that can be dressed up or down....bright and fiery old cut diamonds make these special....
*** I have also listed these in my Etsy shop (www.franziska.etsy.com) as my customer who just purchased them has decided to apply her payment to an antique asscher cut diamond ring....so, if you missed these the first time around, you have a second chance! ***
Crafted of solid 14K white gold, each earring features two bezel set old cut diamonds...a larger old European cut and a smaller brilliant/transitional cut diamond.
Measuring approximately 5.8 mm in diameter, the old European cuts are estimated to weigh a total of 1.40 carats, or so. Very bright, lively and fiery with open culets, I would judge the color of these diamonds to be in the H-I-J range of near-colorless. One diamond shows a clear inclusion near one edge that almost comes to the surface, and the other one is chipped on it's underside (this makes it look a bit more white to the naked eye). They both look very beautiful on the ear, though.
Set above the larger diamonds in smaller bezels are two brilliant cut diamonds (they look to be slightly early modern brilliants) measuring approximately 2.5 to 2.7 mm in diameter, for an additional .13 to .14 carats - bringing the total estimated carat weigh of the earrings to approximately 1.53 to 1.54 carats. I would judge these stones to be in the H-I range of near-colorless and they are eye-clean and nice & clean under magnification, as well - though one stone looks to have some chipping along it's girdle, though even under magnification it's rather hard to see with it's bezel setting.
With a very nice and elegant presence on the ear - these are comfortable earrings to wear with the lever backs offering nice security. Originally, these diamonds were combined with pearls as a pair of old clip back earrings. I've removed the pearls and had the diamonds added to a new solid 14K white gold pair of settings. Even with the flaws mentioned above, they are beautiful and deserve a new life!
From the top of the lever back earwire, they measure approximately 15 mm, or approximately 9/16 of an inch. The lever backs are marked "14K" and the total weight of the pair is 2.25 grams.
The Loupe Troop Price includes Priority Insured shipping within the US...for other shipping locations, please message me.

Great Design and bright, beautiful diamonds are featured in this Art Deco ring....here are the stats:
- 18K white gold
- 23 diamonds: 3 step cut square (or almost square diamonds, 2 European cut diamonds, 18 old single cut diamonds (total estimated to be approximately .50 carat, or so)
.
- step cut diamonds measure approximately 2.8 mm x 2.6 to 2.8 mm. (The bezel setting makes it a little challenging to get very precise measurements.) Very white and clean, I would judge their color to be in the F-G-H range of colorless to near-colorless and they are both clean to the naked eye and beautiful under magnification. All three are in very good condition with no damage that I can discern. Two of the three stones have open culets.
- Two European cut diamonds set into their own triangular shaped settings, each measuring approximately 1.8 to 2 mm in diameter. Extremely fiery with lovely old cuts and open culets, I would judge their color to be in the G-H range of near-colorless and they are also clean to the naked eye, as well as under magnification. I see no chips, nicks or scratches - they are both in great original condition.
- The single cut diamonds create the "v" shaped border, with each diamond approximately 1 to 1.3 mm in diameter (the diamonds at the apex of the "V" are slightly larger than the other small diamonds) Bright and sparkly, I would judge their color to be in the G-H range of near-colorless...again, clean to the naked eye, as well as very nicely clean under magnification, and without damage
- The face of the ring measures approximately 9.3 x 15.5 mm and has a rise off the finger of approximately 4 mm at it's highest point. I see one tiny imperfection on the underside of the bridge that I think could use a touch up with a laser, so I will have my bench jeweler take care of that before shipping the ring to it's new home.
- At some time in it's past this ring has had a new band added to it which was done very nicely. It was also sized at some point and not done quite as nicely as I like to see - so, there is a little thinning and unevenness at the very back of the band. There is an old partially obscured mark of "18 ct" on the inside of the band. The total weight of the ring is 2.25 grams.
- Currently size 4.75 , this ring could be sized within reason by a good jeweler. If it is sized up, especially more than just slightly, I would expect more gold to be added at the back of the band, perhaps a partial shank, at your jeweler's discretion. .
Very lovely on the hand!

These are such sweet and dainty dangling earrings! The flowers have nice, slightly rustic texture and the little seed pod that dangles from the edge of the flower has good movement.
Solid 18K yellow gold,(with a really rich color) measuring approximately 22mm (a little over 3/4 of an inch) in total drop length. (total weight of the pair is 1.30 grams)
These are from my own collection, rather than my Etsy shop....I bought these from nogaseeds on Etsy and have only worn them once. They are charming but now that I have a pixie style haircut, I find I want to wear larger sized earrings. (I'm also listing another pair of new solid gold earrings)
These sell for $240.00 on Etsy:

These are adorable, dainty and very well made earrings that I recently bought on Etsy for $170.00 plus shipping. I've found with my new super short haircut I am only wearing larger, bolder earrings, so am listing this brank new pair of earrings, along with a couple of others...
These are solid 14K yellow gold, with post backings and dangling domes that have a nice finish. I had Sigal make these slightly longer than the ones in her shop:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/241399214/14k-gold-dangle-earrings-small-gold
These are approximately 18 mm long, so just over 3/4 of an inch. Lightweight and comfy on the ear, with nice tight fitting friction backings that are marked "585" for 14K gold. (total weight of the pair is 1.40 grams)
Brand new and never worn!

This is a gorgeous diamond daisy necklace that I just found at auction...
Crafted of solid 18K white gold, this necklace features an elegant and super fiery diamond daisy design, as well as diamond set rondelle stations/spacers, on a lovely double chain.
The diamond daisy is suspended from a bezel set diamond and is composed of 12 brilliant cut diamonds. The two diamonds station/rondelle spacers are studded with more tiny brilliant cut diamonds. (the stations are set a little over 1.5 inches up the chain from the diamond drop.) Very bright and white - I would judge these stones to be in the H-I range of near-colorless. All are eye-clean and nice and clean under magnification, with no damage that I can see. The total estimated carat weight is approximately .56 carats, though it honestly looks like more, given the way the diamonds are set and due to how brilliant they are.
The total length is approximately 16 inches and it closes with a lobster clasp in good working order. The diamond daisy measures approximately 10 mm in diameter, the small bezel set diamond above it measures approximately 2.3 mm, not including it's bezel. And the two diamond studded rondelle spacer/stations are approximately 3 mm in diameter and approximately 2.5 mm wide. The total weight of the piece is a nice 5.20 grams. The reverse of the daisy and the link next to the clasp is marked for "Dev Valencia" with the clasp also marked for 18K gold and the chain for Italy.
Really elegant and super sparkly...perfect for the holidays!

Crafted of solid 18K yellow gold, this ring features a cushion cut blue sapphire surrounded by a halo of 9 fiery old cut diamonds....with scrolling details embellishing each shoulder.
Measuring approximately 3.9 x 4 mm, the sapphire has a wonderful deep royal blue color and lovely clarity. The cut is a nice older cushion cut with a high table, showing only very, very slight wear to the facet junctions on one side of the table under magnification; It looks really great to the naked eye....particularly for it's age. I would estimate it's carat weight to be approximately .30 to perhaps .35 carats, or so.
Nine very bright, white and fiery rustic old cut diamonds create the halo around the central sapphire. Eight are old mine cuts and one is a rose cut diamond. Measure approximately 2 - 2.2 mm in diameter, all the mine cuts have a very chunky look with open culets, though a few are not very deeply cut. The rose cut diamond measures just over 2.2 mm in diameter and is very sparkly, as well, especiallly for a rose cut stone.
I would judge the color of the diamonds to be in the H-I-J range of near-colorless though they face up very white, indeed. The rose cut doesn't appear quite as white as the mine cuts, due to it's cut, but still works really well in the halo. They are all eye-clean and under magnification I see only a few small clear inclusions...they really are nice quality old stones. In good original condition, I only see one chip on the edge of one mine cut diamond. Many of the prongs and bead settings do show wear and I would *definitely* have them retipped to protect these lovely old stones!
With a very elegant and striking presence on the hand, the face measures approximately 12 x 10 mm, including the upper shoulders, and has a rise off the finger of approximately 3.5 mm. It's really comfortable on the hand, and once the settings are retipped, the low profile should make it wonderful to wear daily.
The shoulders have lovely scrolling details that are nice and crisp, with a very Victorian feel. The low crown style setting lets in lots of light to the gems, so they look their best.
Still in very good condition, the band has just a little thinning, and I do think it was once sized in the past, but done nicely, and to the side at the back of the band. (to avoid marring the original hallmarks) The hallmarks indicate the ring was assayed in London, and with the date mark being only partly legible (it's quite worn on one side) I can't be sure of the precise date it was made. Given what I can see of the date letter, the very latest it could be would be 1906-1907, though I think it was likely made earlier. The total weight of the ring is a nice 3.60 grams.
Size 6 on my ring mandrel, the ring fits a little on the snug side on my finger. It could be sized within reason by a good jeweler, though if it is sized up I would expect more gold to be added at the back of the band. **Please read my policies page for more information regarding sizing and feel free to message me to discuss it or to obtain a quote from my trusted bench jeweler.
You may choose to have the ring arrive in the old, worn English ring box it arrived to me in, or I would also be happy to send it in a new, antique style ring box, if you prefer. (please leave me a message in the "Notes to Seller" box at checkout if you would prefer a new box...otherwise I will send it in it's old box. Thank you!)

These gorgeous antique diamond earrings have super fiery old cut diamonds and are versatile enough to dress up or down while always looking elegant...
Crafted of solid 18K yellow gold, each dangle drop earring features two super fiery old diamonds (three are old mine cuts and one is an old European cut), for an estimated total carat weight of approximately .82 carats in the pair.
One sparkling diamond in each earring is stationary, being attached to the earwire. The larger diamond sways at the bottom of a dangling gold bar, giving the earrings nice movement and allowing the diamonds to capture the light beautifully. Open work in the crown style settings allows lots of light into the diamonds and adds nice period detail.
With a distinctly cushion shaped cut, the lower old mine cut diamonds are chunky with small, high tables, open culets and all the fire and brilliance I love to find in old cut diamonds. Measuring approximately 4 x 4 mm and approximately 4 x 3.46 mm, respectively, I would estimate their carat weight to be approximately .32 carats and approximately .28 carats. Nice and bright, I would judge their color to be in the H-I range of near-colorless and they "face up" very white. Both eye-clean and nice and clean under magnification, they are in wonderful condition, with no nicks, chips or scratches. Six prongs hold each diamond into their pretty crown settings, that also enhance the size of the diamond a bit. Some of the prong tips could use some work, though the diamonds seem secure for now.
The smaller diamonds at the top of the earrings measure approximately 2.8 x 2.6 mm for the old mine cut diamond and approximately 3 mm in diameter for the old European cut diamond. (the difference in cut is seen under magnification but not very noticeable at all to the naked eye.) I would estimate them at approximately .10 to .12 carats each, bringing the total estimated carat weight on the pair to approximately .82 carats, or so. Bright and sparkly, I would put them in the same range of color as the larger stones and they are both eye-clean, with some inclusions visible under magnification. Again, I see that some of the prong tips could use some work, though the diamonds seem secure.
Very elegant and a bit dainty, the total drop length from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the diamond drop is approximately 30 mm, or just under 1.25 inches. Their sparkle is lovely and I am always especially fond of pieces that can move from day to night so easily, making them versatile and easy to wear often.
Both earwires are in good condition, and hook into little triangular shaped latches at the back of the earring. Lightweight and comfortable on the ear - even for someone with sensitive ears, the pair has a total weight of 2.35 grams. They are unmarked but have been tested.

This beautiful and very sparkly old cut diamond engagement ring was found in England....
Crafted of solid 18K gold, the ring features 9 very fiery old European cut diamonds set in a beautiful cluster design...a bit like a daisy style cluster and a bit like an antique cross design...very elegant and just a little different. The total estimated carat weight is approximately .92 carats.
Measuring approximately 4.2 mm in diameter, the center diamond is a very chunky diamond with small, high table and an open culet. Super fiery and bright, I would estimate it to be approximately .28 carats, or so. It has a faint to light yellow color, especially seen under magnification. To my naked eye it "faces up" with a very bright light champagne color. Nice and eye-clean, I see only a few clear inclusions under magnification. It's in wonderful condition, with no nicks, chips or scratches that I can see. It's bezel setting retains it's milgrain edging, though it does show a little smoothing to the detail under magnification.
Four more bezel-set diamonds are present (again with milgrain edging the bezels), set both above, below and to either side of the central diamond. These are also very chunky, fiery old European cut diamonds with small, high tables and open culets. Each measuring approximately 3 mm in diameter, I would estimate their total carat weight to be approximately .48 carats, or so. Facing up quite white, I would judge their color to be in the J-K-L range and they are eye-clean. Under magnification I see some clear inclusions, including what looks like a surface reaching inclusion in one stone.
The four smallest old European cut stones are bead-set along the outer edge of the cluster, placed between the four bezel-set diamonds in the filigree design of the face. These diamonds each measure approximately 2.1 to 2.3 mm in diameter and are estimated to weigh approximately .16 carats total, given their chunky old cuts and open culets. Beautifully fiery and eye-clean, I would judge their color to be in the J-K-L range of color. Under magnification I see some clear inclusions and one diamond with a bit of dark carbon, that I can only see with magnification. Their small bead settings show a little wear, so I would recommend keeping an eye on them for future re-tipping. Milgrain also edges the round outer border of the ring, with some areas showing some smoothing.
With a lovely * very sparkly * presence on the hand, the face of the ring measures approximately 12 mm in diameter and has a rise off the finger of approximately 4 mm at it's highest point. Open work in the gallery allows lots of light into the diamonds.
Simple by design, the band is in good condition with a mark inside of "18ct." The ring appears to have been rhodiumed sometime recently, so the finish is nice and bright. The total weight of the ring is 3.10 grams.
Size 7.5 on my ring mandrel, this ring could be sized up or down within reason by a good bench jeweler. ** Please read my policies page for more information regarding sizing and feel free to message me to discuss it or to obtain a quote from my trusted bench jeweler.

This elegant antique bracelet is 14K yellow gold (with a 10K gold clasp and 18K gold safety chain) and features 8 chunky and fiery old cut diamonds set in bezels. The total estimated carat weight is approximately 1.36 carats, or so. It's lovely on the wrist and very comfortable to wear. The simple chain design keeps the emphasis on the sparkly diamonds!
Bright and very lively, I would judge the diamonds color to be in the H-I-J range of near-colorless and they "face up" beautifully. All are clean to my naked eye, with only a few stones having some tiny inclusions I can see under magnification. In very good condition, I see only one diamond that has a chip (or perhaps a surface natural) and one that has a tiny nick or surface natural. Some of the bezels, themselves, do show some expected wear from age. All are chunky with nice old cuts, some with a distinctly cushion shape.
Made for a smaller wrist, the inside circumference of the bracelet when clasped is just over 6.5 inches. At the widest part - the center - the bracelet is approximately 8 mm in width, narrowing slightly towards the clasp, where it is approximately 7 mm wide. It's total weight is a dainty 5.25 grams.

Intricate and substantial - this platinum diamond ring with sapphire accents dates to the late Edwardian to early Art Deco period....
Solid platinum, the ring features a total of 18 bright and sparkly old cut diamonds and 4 triangular cut blue sapphire...set amidst intricate filigree and elegant hand engraving. The total estimated diamond weight in the ring is approximately .85 carats, or so.
Two extremely fiery old European cut diamonds, set in double bordered milgrain edged settings with a stylized octagonal shape, are the focal points of the ring. Each diamond measures approximately 4 to 4.1 mm in diameter, for a total estimated carat weight of approximately .52 carats, or so. (perhaps slightly more given their chunky, old cuts) Very bright and sparkly, I would judge their color to be in the H-I range of near-colorless and they are both beautifully eye-clean. Under magnification I see only a very few teeny tiny imperfections. Both stones are in very good condition, and their bead settings also look fairly good, though I would recommend keeping an eye on them, and having them tightened, as needed.
At each outer corner of the large diamonds is a small bezel-set triangular shaped blue sapphire measuring approximately 2 x 2 x 2 mm. Likely lab created sapphires, as these were all the rage during this period, they have a medium to deep blue color and a French cut. They look great to the eye, though they do show some wear under magnification. Most of the original milgrain edging their settings is still present; only a very little bit has smoothed with time.
To either side of the central twin diamonds is a small chunky old single cut diamond bead-set into a pretty tulip shaped setting surrounded by milgrain and pierced work. These diamonds each measure approximately 2 mm in diameter and I would judge them to be in the H-I-J range of near-colorless. One has some inclusions and the other is very clean even under magnification; both are in good condition.
The gallery is absolutely gorgeous, with scrolling filigree and six small sparkling diamonds set on each side. These chunky old single cut diamonds range in size from approximately 1.3 to 2 mm in diameter, depending upon where in the design they are placed. I would judge them to be in the H-I range of near-colorless and eye-clean. Most of them are also clean under magnification, with a few having a few tiny inclusions seen only under magnification. They are in very good condition and the crisp milgrain defining their settings and accompanying scrollwork sets them off beautifully.
Another chunky single cut diamond is bead-set into the scrolling design at the lower shoulders - just above where the hand engraving of the band begins. Measuring approximately 2 mm in diameter, these diamonds match the other small diamonds in color, are eye-clean and each have an inclusion I can see under magnification. I would estimate the total carat weight of the small diamonds in the piece to be approximately .33 carats, or so, bringing the total estimated diamond weight in the ring to approximately .85 carats. Many of the small bead settings could use some re-tipping or re-beading (re-tipping is when more metal is added to the little bead settings and re-tipping is when the existing metal is simply reformed into a bead) I see one small old repair under magnification, just below one diamond at the lower shoulder. It's not very noticeable even under magnification, but is noted for accuracy and can be seen in macro photo # 3.
Original hand engraving with a leafy or wheat style design continues all the way around the band, on all three sides. Much of it is still nice and crisp, though it does show some expected wear on the lower part of the band.
In very good condition, the band shows no signs of ever having been sized and is still marked "platinum" inside. The ring has a very nice heft to it, weighing a total of 5.05 grams.
Fitting a size 7, this ring could be sized within reason by a good jeweler. If sized down, a skilled jeweler could likely minimize the disruption to the engraving at the back of the band - matching up the pattern and touching it up as needed. If it is sized up, I would expect a small area of polished platinum at the very back, or some touch up engraving could be considered to keep the engraved style uninterrupted.

This stunner is classic high Art Deco...with fiery old European cut diamonds in a stylized geometric design with tons of period detail...since it arrived to me as a brooch with broken pin mechanism, it's perfect to be converted into a pendant necklace. (price includes conversion with chain described below...or have your jeweler convert into a big statement ring!)
-Crafted of solid white gold that tests between 14K and 15K for me, the pendant features a total of 26 chunky old cut diamonds, including 24 old European cut diamonds. Open work and crisp milgrain adds wonderful detail work to these fiery diamonds. The total estimated carat weight is approximately 1.42 carats.
-Set to the upper center of the pendant is a bright and extremely fiery old European cut diamond in a milgrain-edged bezel. Measuring approximately 5 mm in diameter, I would estimate this chunky old diamond to weigh approximately .50 carat, or so. It's color and clarity are very good, with color I would judge to be in the H-I range of near-colorless. It's completely eye-clean and is also beautifully clean under magnification. In wonderful original condition, I see no nicks, chips or scratches to this fine old diamond. The milgrain on it's bezel and the outer border around the pierced work is still very crisp.
-Five more old European cut diamonds are bead-set to either side of the central diamond, in milgrain edged settings, with another set in a half-marquise shaped setting beneath. (again with milgrain edging.) Measuring approximately 2 to 2.3 mm in diameter, I would estimate these diamonds to have a total carat weight of approximately .40 carats. (perhaps slightly more given their chunky old cuts.) Bright and super fiery, I would judge their color to be in the G-H-I range of near-colorless. They, too, are completely eye-clean and also beautiful under magnification. (not just clean but really nicely proportioned with nice facet patterns) In wonderful condition, I see no nicks, chips or scratches.
-Three sparkling OEC's are bead-set into an elegantly shaped foliate style setting above the central diamond. These stones measure approximately 2 mm in diameter, as well, for another estimated .10 carats of clean, fiery and bright old cut diamonds, that I would put in the H-I range of near-colorless.
-Six additional OEC's are bead-set into the milgrain edged geometric top/side border, with these diamonds each measuring approximately 1.8 to 2.2 mm in diameter. (another approximately .19 ctw) Also bright, fiery and eye-clean, I see a few small clear inclusions in a couple of these diamonds, though I see no damage to any stones. Pretty beadwork also decorates the border design, along with crisp milgrain.
-Neat zig-zag detail with beading and milgrain decorates both outer sides of the pendant, heading down towards the horizontal row of diamonds, each bead-set in their own little square settings with milgrain edging. These old European cuts measure approximately 2 mm in diameter (estimated at approximately .13 ctw) with color I would judge to be in the G-H-I range. Eye-clean and very fiery, they are in great original condition with no damage that I can see, and only a couple of tiny clear inclusions in a couple of diamonds, visible only with magnification. Finally, three more diamonds are set in elegantly stylized milgrain-edged settings at the very bottom of the piece.
-A substantially sized pendant, the piece measures approximately 23 mm at it's widest points and approximately 29 mm in length. (just under 1 inch in width and approximately 1 and 1/8 of an inch long) Open work decorates the sides of the piece so lots of light get into these fiery diamonds. Overall, it's in great vintage condition and I will have my bench jeweler tighten any bead-settings when we add the chain. Please specify what length of 14K white gold rope style chain you would like, and remember to factor in the width of the pendant, as the chain will be attached at the top back side of each side of the pendant. This will look much more elegant and seamless than adding a clunky bail at the top.
-Please allow 1-2 weeks for the work to be completed for you, before shipment. If you prefer your own jeweler to do the conversion please let me know and I will deduct $80.00 from the price.
- The cost includes insured priority shipping within the US. Please message me for info on shipping to other locations. Thank you!

Classic, dainty, sparkly and elegant...
Crafted of solid platinum, each earring features a milgrain edged bezel-set European cut diamond with a platinum halo surround. These two old cut diamonds are original to their settings and were originally part of an old damaged brooch. I have added platinum posts and backings so that they may now be enjoyed as sweet little studs.
Measuring approximately 3 mm in diameter, each diamond is estimated to weigh approximately .10 to .12 carats, or so, (it's challenging to get a precise depth measurement with their settings) giving an estimated total carat weight for the pair of approximately .20 to .24 carats. Bright and fiery, they have a little warmth, as many old cut diamonds do. I would judge their color to be in the J-K-L range, though they face up beautifully with just a bit of creaminess/slight champagne to their color. Both are eye-clean, with a few tiny clear inclusions seen only under magnification.
In great condition, I see no nicks, chips or scratches; the original milgrain is still crisp and beautiful on their bezels. I love the platinum halo surround that perfectly captures the Edwardian to Art Deco period of design and gives these small studs a little extra style and presence on the ear.
Their total diameter with the platinum surround is approximately 6.6 mm; the platinum posts are approximately 11 mm in length. The rise off the ear is approximately just under 3 mm at the highest point. I chose screwback posts for security (particularly handy if you like to wear your studs to bed and in the shower) and each platinum backing is marked "950." The total weight of the finished pair is 2.00 grams.
The listed price includes priority insured shipping within the US. If you live elsewhere please inquire as to shipping methods and costs to your location. I offer a three day review/return period so that you can be sure you love the earrings. If you decide they are not right for you, please contact me within three days of delivery to let me know and ship them back within a week's time, in original condition with their presentation box, please. Return shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. Thank you!

Super fiery, this platinum diamond ring has a great style and a major presence on the hand!
Solid platinum, the ring features 9 chunky and fiery European cut diamonds set in a wide circle setting. Milgrain edges both the border of the diamond circle and the edges of the platinum band. The total estimated carat weight of the piece is 1.06 to 1.08 carats.
Each old cut diamond measures approximately 3 mm in diameter for an estimated .12 carat apiece. I would judge their color to be in the G-H-I range of near-colorless and they are all eye-clean, with a few stones having imperfections I can't see with my naked eye. Their shared bead settings show a little expected wear from age but are holding the diamonds well.
The diamond circle's face measures approximately 14 mm in diameter - a little over half an inch. The rise off the finger is a modest 3.8 mm. The finished weight of the ring is 4.40 grams...it definitely has some heft to it. It fits like a size 7 on me, and could be sized within reason by a good jeweler.
The price includes insured domestic priority mail - if you live elsewhere please message me to discuss shipping options to your area. I offer a three day return period that is outlined in my Etsy policies. Thank you!

Very sparkly and elegant, these antique diamond drop earrings feature a wonderful classically Edwardian design of diamond set leaves and bezel-set diamonds...total estimated carat weight is approximately .70 carats, or so.
Crafted of platinum with 14K white gold posts and backings as a later addition....These came to me as earrings, but look to have been constructed with antique earring or bracelet components.
The larger diamonds are bezel-set OEC's, measuring approximately 3.8 to 3.9 mm, and estimated at approximately .15 carats each, with H-I color and eye-clean clarity. (also quite good clarity under magnification, with no damage, and nice milgrain still edging the bezels.)
The top diamonds (on front of the posts) are chunky single cuts, approximately 2 mm in diameter, set in 3 mm settings, total estimated carat weight of approximately .06 carats, with H-I color. Eye clean, I see a few small inclusions under mangification, and no damages, though there is some wear to the settings.
Love the diamond set leaves! A single diamond-set leaf connects to the pairs of leaves, all set with chunky old cut diamonds and edged with milgrain. Most of these small diamonds have a square/cushion cut that almost looks like a table cut with some extra facets...really charming and unusual. They average approximately 1 x 1 mm and estimated at combined weight of approximately .34 carats, with H-I-J color abd eye-clean clarity. A few inclusions can be seen under magnification with two stones having teeny tiny chips that can't be seen with the naked eye.
Total drop length is approximately 40 mm or 1 9/16 of an inch, total weight of the pair is 4.05 grams.
Listed cost included priority insured shipping within the US...for other destinations, please message me to discuss the options. I offer a three day review/return period, as long as the item is returned in original condition and original presentation box(es). Thank you!

Just found this vintage beauty at an auction and thought I would offer it to someone who might have the perfect center stone for it....
It's 14K white gold, with 20 modern round brilliant cut diamonds set in it currently. There are 14 diamonds in the halo (2 mm in diameter each) and three graduated diamonds in each shoulder. (approx. 2.5, 2 and 1.5 mm in diameter, respectively. The estimated carat weight is approximately .54 to .60 ctw.
Very bright, white and sparkly (way prettier than I can ever get in indoor photos, so I will try and get some outdoor photos when the weather clears), I would judge the color of the stones to be in the H-I range, and the clarity is pretty good. I see some small inclusions under magnification and two diamonds look like they might be replacements, because under magnification I can see the clarity is not as nice as the other diamonds. Inn good condition, I see only one stone in the halo having either a couple of small chips or surface inclusions seen under magnification.
The halo is approximately 12 mm in diameter, and the space in the center is just about 6 mm in diameter.
Three of the four prongs that held the center stone are present, but show wear, so I would recommend having four new prongs built to hold your center very securely.
Milgrain edges the inside and outside of the halo, and the shoulder settings, with a little smoothing in some areas. The gallery has open work so lots of light gets into the stones. (the rise off the finger is approximately 6 mm to the top of the halo.
The band looks substantial and sturdy, and is slightly oval, with some signs of having been sized in the past. No marks are present but I tested to confirm the 14K gold. Total weight of the ring without a center stone is a hefty 4.45 grams.
It fits me like a size 7.5 and could be sized by a good jeweler.
*** Price includes insured priority shipping within the US...if you live elsewhere please message me to discuss the options and cost. I offer a 3 day return period, if the ring is returned in original condition in original presentation box, within one week. Thank you! ***

This beautiful old cut diamond ring (approximately 1.8 to 2 carats) is currently at my GIA Gemologist/Appraiser. I'm offering the ring now at a pre-appraised price, but will include the completed appraisal with the ring. If it doesn't sell before the appraisal is completed next week, I may adjust the price upwards in keeping with the appraisal results.)
In 14K gold with a platinum or early white gold head and settings, this beauty boasts 7 very chunky old mine cut diamonds with a slightly rustic cut. They all have beautiful blocky facets, high crowns, small tables and open culets. They are very fiery and bright - much better in person than they look in my photos.
The center measures approximately 4.3 x 3.75 mm, and the surrounding diamonds are larger, with the largest measuring approximately 5 x 4.6 mm.
Very bright and facing up white, I would judge them to be in the H-I-J range of near-colorless with eye-clean clarity and only some clear inclusions I can see under magnification.
In very good antique condition, I see very little wear to the diamonds, though I wonder if perhaps the two diamonds that are not cut quite as deeply as the other five diamonds could be very old replacements. If they are, they were matched beautifully, as I can only see a bit of difference in the depth and size in their settings under close scrutiny with magnification. (and those who know me, know how picky I am) The settings themselves show some wear, but are in quite good condition, with the white metal and detailing setting off the sparkle of the diamonds very nicely.
Super sparkly with great finger coverage, the diamond face of the ring measures approximately 12 mm in diameter. (about half an inch) The rise off the finger is just about 5 mm.
Size 5.75 with the slender band - it fits me more like a size 6 and could be sized within reason by a good jeweler. It comes in a gorgeous old red leather box.
My shop on Etsy is www.Franziska.etsy.com and I allow a three day review period. (ring must be returned in original condition with box and appraisal, please; return costs are the Buyer's responsibility.)
Insured USPS domestic shipping with tracking is included in my price on LT. Please try messaging me through Etsy if you don't hear back from me through LT - which sometimes acts wonky. Thank you!

These sweet late Edwardian to Art Deco diamond drop earrings will arrive in the pretty leather case shown in my photos. They feature:
- 18K yellow gold topped with white gold, milgrain edging the settings
- 2 bezel set rose cut diamonds, each approximately 2.8 - 3 mm in diameter, good color and clarity - especially for old rose cuts. The surround measures just over 6 mm in diameter
- 2 very rustic small old rose cuts set in the top settings, more oval in shape, showing more wear and some inclusions (if you prefer to replace these two small diamond, as their clarity is not as good as the larger stones, I can include 2 small old rose cuts from the same period that match the lower diamonds better in clarity - just let me know!)
- a total drop length of approximately 17.2 mm (approximately 11/16 of an inch), these are on the small side, and could work equally well for casual, work or dressy events.
- the drops are stationary, the pair has a total weight of 2.10 grams
- Hinged backings in great condition, no hallmarks found, but tested for fineness of gold
While not as fiery as old brilliants, old rose cuts have such a charming twinkle and glow...and these have even more twinkle after being cleaned several times.
The price includes insured priority shipping with signature and tracking in the US. If you live elsewhere, please message me to discuss shipping options and costs.
My Etsy shop is: www.franziska.etsy.com and I offer a three day review/return period, where the item(s) may be returned in original condition for a refund less shipping costs.

A very sparkly carre cut diamond platinum eternity band with original hand engraved initials & date in 1954...
Size 5.75 but fits me like a size 6, I count 38 carre cut diamonds, each approximately 2.8 - 3 x 2.8 - 3 mm, for a total estimated carat weight of 1 carat, perhaps a little more.
Diamonds are beautiful - bright and very clean, I would judge them to be in the G-H range of clarity, and I see only two diamonds with tiny nicks/chips visible only under magnification. The platinum channel setting shows a little wear.
The band is approximately 2.3 mm wide and rises off the finger approximately 2 mm. 2.80 grams is the finished weight.
As an Etsy shop owner (www.franziska.etsy.com) I offer a three day review period. I must be notified within three days if you decide to return the piece, and it must be returned in original condition. Return shipping is the Buyer's responsibility. I love this well made necklace I had done by William White on Etsy, but I find I don't wear it often, so have decided it should find another home where it will be worn and enjoyed....
The emerald cabochon is 6.7 mm in diameter and set in a substantial 18K yellow gold open backed bezel setting...what Will calls a "lollipop" setting.
(here is a similar one with a faceted emerald:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/249403918/emerald-gold-necklace-emerald-pendant)
The emerald has very pretty color, just on the lighter side of medium emerald green with a nice glow to it. It does have the usual inclusions, but nothing I find unsightly. What I notice is the lovely color which looks great with the richly colored gold.
Including the bezel, the pendant measures approximately 9.6 mm across, and has a total drop length with the stylized bail, of approximately 17.5 mm. (approximately 11/16 of an inch)
The 18K gold curb chain is approximately 16 inches long, and closes with a spring ring style clasp. Both clasp and a link of the chain is marked for 18K gold. The total weight of the pendant and chain together is 3.05 grams.
Priority shipping with insurance is included within the US. For other locations, please message me. (if LT messages are not working, please message me through my Etsy shop, www.Franziska.etsy.com Even though this is a personal piece of my own jewelry I will still allow a three day return period. I think you will love it, though. Thank you!

I've only worn these pretty earrings twice...they were made by Jenny of Jenco8 on Etsy. I'm wearing my basic hoops most of the time, so hopefully these can go to a new home where they will be worn more often and truly enjoyed...
The earwires and gold loop the gems are suspended from are solid 14K yellow gold.
Each faceted moss aquamarine is approximately 11 to 12 mm long, with a hard to describe color (and hard to photograph color) that is a dusky sea-blue-green. They have a really nice glow and a bit of sparkle. I think the color is really quite special and equally nice for winter as it is for spring and summer.
Their total length is slightly under 1 and 1/4 of an inch.
Very lightweight and comfortable (2.25 grams for the pair) I'm including the little silicone stoppers for security.
Priority insured shipping is included within the US. If you live elsewhere please contact me for a shipping quote. (if LT messages are not working, feel free to message me at my Etsy shop, www.Franziska.etsy.com) I allow a three day return period, as I do for my vintage and antique pieces. Thank you!

A really pretty and very sparkly diamond ring in a size 7...
Center diamond is approximately 5 mm in diameter, and is extremely fiery and bright. It faces up a very bright warm white, though under magnification it is more of a champagne color. Completely eye-clean to me, I do see some small inclusions under magnification and a couple of very tiny chips at the edge by the bezel in one spot. (that I can't see with my naked eye. The bezel itself does show some wear and an old repair.
There are two very rustic polki style diamonds, one to either side of the bezel set central diamond. These diamonds measure approximately 1.2 to 1.4 mm in diameter. They have a muted twinkle...I think changing them out with single cuts or brilliants would be even nicer...and I can include two small, sparkly single cut diamonds for this purpose if you like.
Most of the ring is 14K white gold, and there is 10K white gold around the center diamond. The beautiful details of the ring still look great and really accentuate the size and sparkle of the center diamond.
The face (including the shoulders) measure approximately 18 x 9 mm; the rise off the finger is approximately 4.7 mm at the highest point. The total weight is 2.15 grams.
Insured shipping will be at actual cost...please message with your location for an exact quote. (sometimes LT messages don't go through, so feel free to contact me on Etsy at www.franziska.etsy.com) Thank you!

I recently found this lovely, very sparkly diamond love knot ring at auction. By Gabriel & Co (and marked inside) this usually retails at $980.00 plus shipping.
In very good lightly used condition, the ring fits me as a size 6.75, and measures a 6.5 on a ring mandrel - and could be sized up or down.
Bright and shiny 14K white gold with a polished finish, there are small white and fiery brilliant cut diamonds set throughout the knot and the shoulders...I believe I counted 49 of them, each approximately 1.5 mm in diameter for an approximate total carat weight around .74 carats, or so.
The face measures approximately 16 x 7 mm, with a rise off the finger of approximately 3.6 mm.
The finished weight of the ring is 2.50 grams and it is marked inside: "Gabriel& Co" and "14K S500223."
I see no damage though it could use a good cleaning...
Price is $550.00 plus actual cost of insured shipping to your location. I allow a three day review/inspection period so you can make sure you love the ring. Return shipping would need to be in original condition the ring was sent in, and would need to be returned within one week, please. Return shipping is the Buyer's responsibility.

Soon to be listed on Etsy, I’m offering this lovely old beauty at a better price here and on Instagram first.
In 18K yellow gold, the ring features a super fiery Old Mine Cut Diamond Halo around a lovely blue sapphire. Deep blue enamel decorates the outer border, as well as the leafy designed shoulders. This ring has a major presence and finger coverage, with tremendous sparkle. I’m conservatively estimating the carat weight at around 3.55carats, as it’s not easy to get really precise depth measurements of the stones.
The diamonds are very white and fiery, with good clarity. They are approximately 3.8 x 3.8 mm to approximately 3.4 x 3.3 mm. I’m still working to get them really clean, as the ring came to me really filthy, but so far I would estimate their color to be in the H-I range of near colorless and they face up very white. All are eye-clean. With magnification I only see a couple of stones with small inclusions...they are very nice quality and in great condition. I don’t see any damages, though a few of the prongs need to be retipped.
The sapphire is a lovely violet- blue, measuring approximately 8.2 x 6.2mm. It has a few natural inclusions and light wear seen with magnification and looks great to the naked eye.
The beautiful enamel is also in good condition, with light wear and a little loss to one decorative shoulder. Engraving continues around the underside of the ring.
The face of the ring measures approximately 19 x 15.5 mm or a little over 3/4 of an inch x just under 5/8 of an inch. The band might have been replaced in the past, and is nice and sturdy with a seam at the back where it was previously sized. Currently around a size 6.5 it can be sized. The finished weight of the ring is a hefty 7.05 grams. It comes in a lovely antique French ring box or a new ring box if preferred.
I’ve posted a brief video on my Instagram in indoor lighting and will do one with outdoor lighting shortly. @franziska_vintage_jewels

Authentic Cartier Paris articulated carre Cut Diamond Band in platinum...likely from the Art Deco to early Retro period! I’m only offering this piece here, on my Instagram and Etsy for a short period, as I’ve arranged to auction it in NYC.
With supple and sinus movement, this is an incredible eternity band with super clean carre cut diamonds, estimated to be 1.84 to 2.30 carats or approximately .08 to .10 carats for each of the 23 diamonds.
Each link moves independently, so the ring hugs your finger as you move. The articulation also seems to make the band fit my smaller finger as well as my size 6.75 finger. It’s nice to have that extra bit of versatility in an eternity band.
The ring is approximately 3.2 mm wide and weighs a little under 4 grams on my scale, size 6.75. (Also fitting my size 5 to 5.5 finger)
No damages, though the Cartier Paris mark does show some wear. The ring has been authenticated, though long ago lost its box and paperwork.
If you would like to see more photos and vide, see my Instagram @franziska_vintage_jewels and my Etsy shop, www.franziska.etsy.com.
The price is $6500 to $7500 plus actual shipping. The price will depend on method of payment - Etsy, PayPal or wire transfer. Shipping will be via registered mail with signature.
LT messages don’t always work, if you can’t reach me hear please message me at Etsy or Instagram with questions. Thanks!

I've just listed this wonderful Rose Cut Diamond Ring with scroll design by the amazing James (Jim) Meyer in my Etsy shop. I thought I would let Loupe Troopers know, as I know Jim has many fans.
The ring is in 18K yellow gold with a platinum bezel, edged with milgrain. The diamond is approximately 6 x 5 mm (give or take as its hard to get a precise measurement while set) and estimated to be approximately .44 to .50 carats, or so. Super clean, chunky and sparkly, the diamond faces up quite white, but has a lovely warm yellow tint seen with magnification. (this can be seen with my macro photos)
In excellent condition, I spoke to Jim who confirmed its his ring and he thinks he likely made it in the '90's.
It has a finished weight of 4.55 grams on my scale and is currently a sizable size 4.75. Fully marked inside and I will also pass along copies of the correspondence I've had with Jim.
Please check out the additional details and photos in my shop:

Thank you.

I bought this ring at auction and while it is super pretty with great style and lovely on the hand, the center diamond is too included for my picky sensibilities.
It's 18K white gold with a rhodium finish, currently a sizable size 7.5 ish - it registers more like a size 7 on a mandrel, but the style makes it fit more loosely.
Center stone is estimated at approximately .85 carats (6.2 mm) with the 18 accent diamonds, estimated at approximately 1.22 carats total weight. Great octagonal shape to the face.
The center stone is very fiery and has good near-colorless color but does have inclusions putting it in the I range for clarity - mostly white/clear and a few teeny tiny specks of dark carbon. One white/clear inclusion can be seen with my naked eye, though it blends in fairly well given it's not dark in color. (it's even hard to see in my macro photos because it blends in a lot with the color of the diamond - I have not edited out any inclusions in the photos) Part of the inclusion does reach or almost reach the surface. So, if you are a stickler for excellent clarity, this will not be the diamond for you.
The baguettes have well matched color and SI range eye-clean clarity, while the small round brilliants are also eye clean and near-colorless with some small inclusions in some stones that I can only see with a loupe.
The settings look to be in good shape, with the bead settings on the graduated stones of the shoulders showing more wear. (I think three of them should be retipped soon)
Inside the band is a mark for 18K, and the ring weighs 3.65 grams.
I'm offering it for less than I paid, so might negotiate a little on price but not much. Insured Shipping at cost and payment by venmo or zelle preferred, paypal ok with their fees added. Three day return period, if ring is returned in original condition. Please message with any questions.
