This stunning natural emerald and diamond platinum ring is from the 1920's Art Deco period. It will come with it's independent appraisal by a GIA/NAJA appraiser.
This emerald is so vivid and eye-clean it could easily be mistaken for a faux gem...it's truly a gorgeous emerald. The diamonds are also clean and extremely fiery and bright.
- natural emerald 5.10 x 5.20 x 3.14, approximate weight of .57 ct, eye-clean SI, vivid green (Munsell 5G 5/12), cut is very good
- 4 old European cut diamonds, 3.50 - 3.40 x 2.14 mm, approximate total weight of 4 stones is .62 cts, VS1 to SI1 clarity, H-I color with good cut
- 4 old European cut diamonds, 2.00 - 2.10 x 1.27 mm, approximate total weight of 4 stones is .13 cts, SI1 clarity with H-I color and a good cut
Polished platinum finish, face measures approximately 12.62 x 12.32 mm and has a rise off the finger of 5 mm. 3.20 grams. Size 6.5 (sizeable) but also fits my size 6.75 finger, as it has a slender band.
Very good vintage condition - 1 tiny nick to the emerald and a couple of spots on the gallery that could be lasered. A stunning piece. Appraisal shows replacement value of $3995.00.
