Gorgeous and large 4.12ct Natural blue spinel from Sri Lanka. This gem is very nearly eye clean with only a feather barely visible beneath the crown facets on one end. Absolutely does not detract from the overall appearance of the gem. Photos were taken outdoors in the late afternoon/early evening in shade. No special lighting was use. Photos were taken with an iPhone 5. Measures 10.98x8.73x6.14mm Color is a rich blue. In natural lighting an almost imperceptible greenish tint can be seen and in artificial light, there is a violet hue. IN all lighting the stone is a fine blue overall.
