I have an urgent medical need. A dear friend in Pakistan has been diagnosed with blood cancer. Things there are not as they are here, medically speaking (insurance). The full brunt of costs falls on the individual. There is no government assistance. Yet costs are a mere percentage of what they are here. However, they are still so far above the ability of the common man to afford that treatment for such diseases is unobtainable except for the wealthy. The first step in treatment is a bone marrow extraction for a cost of 40,000 rupees (about $400 USD).

If this sapphire is purchased I will pay for the beginning of treatment for my friend. He is completely unable to pay for himself.
