Van Craeynest 456 wedding band, size 6, crafted in 14K yellow gold. The ring was handmade, die struck and hand chased by artisans in San Francisco, California; this band predates the selling of Van Craeynest outside of the family which guarantees that it is die struck and not cast. The pattern is acanthus leaves. This band has a gorgeous presence on the hand. This style, in particular, has intricate detail that is visible without a loupe (unlike some VC styles). The band is very comfortable to wear and easy to put on; I can slip it onto a size 6,5 finger comfortably because of the rounded edges of the tapered shank. The shank will accommodate reasonable sizing by an experienced bench. This band is bright and shiny; to me eye it has never been antiqued. It would make a beautiful addition to a yellow gold stack as well as a lovely wedding band. (Current pricing for a 456 band crafted in 18K YG is approximately $2200, per Van Craeynest in May 2013. Other than that I can't give a retail comp as VC no longer makes rings in 14K.) I am a private seller and do not accept returns, so please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. I accept Paypal and will ship via USPS Priority or Express service (at my discretion) with tracking and insurance. USA only. Thanks for looking!

My misfortune will be someone else's luck! This ring was sold to me as "approximately" a size 8, no returns, but it is really a size 10. The ring is hallmarked with the VC symbol as well as 18K. It is the Van Craeynest 812.6 band (previously referred to as the 912.6 band) and has six (6) accent diamonds circling the band. This band is in good vintage condition; it was clearly worn and loved and some of the detail has worn away. My pricing reflects this as retail on this band new would be approximately $1800. I am selling this band at a loss compared to what I paid. The photo with the dark background shows the detail best, but please be assured that the band is YELLOW gold as it looks white in that photo. NO RETURNS, so please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. I accept Paypal and will ship via USPS priority service with tracking and insurance. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful platinum diamond cocktail ring with calibre sapphires and diamond single cut side stones. The sapphires are a lovely hue. All diamonds test as real with my diamond tester, and the sapphires hit too (which glass stones won't). Four of the side stones show fluorescence, from faint to strong, including both of the larger accent stones. This ring has an approximately 4mm modern round brilliant center; it was my intention to replace it with an old cut, having the prongs redone at that time. The side sapphires show significant wear with edge rubbing and chips. Because they are calibre cut and bezel set replacing them would be difficult and potentially expensive; this ring is probably best for someone who loves some wear and patina on an old piece and isn't looking for something brand new. Conversely, it would make an incredible ring if someone wants to replace the center diamond and the sapphires (with real stones or period-appropriate synthetics). Despite all it's flaws it is a lovely die struck ring! It could be worn exactly as it is now. Ring is approximately a size 7, but it slightly out of round making it difficult to get an accurate sizing. It comes to the 7.25 mark depending which way it is oriented on the mandrel. It is stamped 100IRID.900PLAT and weighs between 3 - 4g. Shipping within the USA only. NO RETURNS, so please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. I accept Paypal and will ship via USPS priority service with tracking and insurance. Thanks for looking!

This was sold to me as a 9mm Wink OEC CZ, color estimated at H, in a 14K WG New Yorker setting. It is a bright and lively stone, so fun to wear, but I have only worn it a handful of times as DH really doesn't understand why I would wear a CZ when he bought me a diamond. The light play and faceting are what I would look for in a diamond, and it throws some pretty pastels too. Shipping within the USA only. NO RETURNS, so please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. I accept Paypal and will ship via USPS priority service with tracking and insurance. Thanks for looking! I bought this gorgeous platinum and diamond Van Craeynest ring thinking I would switch out the center diamond for a colored stone, but here I am six months later and I never did it. I'm in the market for an e-ring upgrade, so this ring is one that I am willing to part with to fund that, plus I won't have the funds for a sapphire or ruby to put in this beautiful ring. The ring is the Van Craeynest 1007, done in platinum without any antiquing. Hallmarks for Van Craeynest and platinum are intact. The center is approximately .74 CT and was sold to me as H/SI3, which I think is fairly accurate. The stone is nice and white, but it does have visible inclusions. While much of the value is in the mounting, it is still a nice sized diamond and would do someone very well, either left in the mounting or removed and used in a pendant or bangle. Last Christmas Emerson and Farrar showcased this exact ring in their look book, with a 3/4 CT diamond center, for $16,950. The mounting alone sells for over $10K brand new. This ring is a comfortable size 6. Shipping within the USA only. Since I am a private seller I do not accept returns; please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have ahead of time. I accept Paypal and will ship insured via USPS Priority Overnight. Thanks for looking!
