I bought this gorgeous platinum and diamond Van Craeynest ring thinking I would switch out the center diamond for a colored stone, but here I am six months later and I never did it. I'm in the market for an e-ring upgrade, so this ring is one that I am willing to part with to fund that, plus I won't have the funds for a sapphire or ruby to put in this beautiful ring.

The ring is the Van Craeynest 1007, done in platinum without any antiquing. Hallmarks for Van Craeynest and platinum are intact. The center is approximately .74 CT and was sold to me as H/SI3, which I think is fairly accurate. The stone is nice and white, but it does have visible inclusions. While much of the value is in the mounting, it is still a nice sized diamond and would do someone very well, either left in the mounting or removed and used in a pendant or bangle.

Last Christmas Emerson and Farrar showcased this exact ring in their look book, with a 3/4 CT diamond center, for $16,950. The mounting alone sells for over $10K brand new.

This ring is a comfortable size 6.
