This poor little fellow is a 'leftover' from a parcel of fine rubies (all sold). It's not top drawer quality, since it's included and the color is only GIA 'purplish red' as opposed to 'red'.
The inclusions, although not allowing for a grading as 'eye clean' are not too distracting. No dark spots or surface reaching inclusions. The overall appearance is very nice, also because the color is 'glowy'.
It's unheated, GIA certified, and a very good size, so I think it's a great deal for someone who wants an unheated ruby on a budget.
$999 including shipping within US. 7 day return period.
I'm also happy to set this ruby in a ring or pendant for you, with prices starting as low as $300 (incl. work) for a simple 14K setting.

I am still cleaning out my safe to make space for new gems that I got at AGTA Las Vegas. These are still around. The price for each set was originally $849, now I am willing to let them go for $666 each, shipping included. Want them all? Additional discount available.
Set 1: Ideal for small dangly earrings, 2 small marquises (orange), 2 tapered baguettes (olive-green), 2 round (strong lemon yellow), 0.46 ct total weight
Set 2: Ideal for a halo, 28 pieces, all tapered baguette cuts, shades of yellow (some pure yellow, some orangish, some greenish), 0.73 ct total weight
Set 3: Ideal for necklace or bracelet, all round brilliant cuts, 1 strong lemon yellow, 2 intense olive-green, 2 coppery-orange, 2 golden-greenish, 2 orange-peach-coppery, 0.57 ct total weight
Very good value for custom jewelry projects. All open and interesting colors, no "brown" stones. Colors even nicer than image shows (especially true for the necklace set).

These two little rubies are old stock, just found them in the back of my safe and thought they would make a nice weekend offer. There are some tiny flea bites to the girdle, reflected in the price.
The color is an open pinkish red, not too light, never too dark. Clarity is very good, with only enough inclusions to be identified as natural ruby. Submitting them to a lab would dramatically increase the price, which is why I sell them as "treatment unknown" although I can guarantee that they are natural.
Size: +/- 3.30 x 3.30 mm each
Weight: 0.47 ct total
Price: $150 for the pair
Those two little beauties would make great stud earrings. If you wish, I am happy to set those for you. Simple four prong settings, 14K YG or WG, friction or screw posts, are available for another $150 (including work).

These 12 beautiful, old fashioned square sapphires come from a larger parcel of blue sapphire melee. I spent the afternoon sorting these and putting together small sets of matching size and color, and I find these cornflower blue squares especially pleasing.
The color is an open cornflower blue, not too light, never too dark. There are some tiny flea bites and small abrasions on some of the stones, reflected in the price. Submitting these gems to a lab would dramatically increase the price, which is why I sell them as "treatment unknown" although I guarantee that they are natural. In my opinion they are heat-only to unheated.
They would look fantastic in an eternity band, but there are tons of other options (accents on ring shoulders, halo accents, parts of dangly earrings, small stacking rings...).
Size: +/- 2 mm each
Weight: 0.84 ct total
Price: $199 for the set
Payment through Paypal (goods & services), 7 day return period, free shipping within US.

If you have always wanted a > 2 ct canary yellow diamond radiant, but do not want to break the bank, this yellow sapphire might be a great substitute.
Video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75hNGkWdOpU
Weight: 2.07 ct
Measurements: 6.6 x 6.5 x 5.1 mm
Treatment: none / unheated
The stone is very well cut, no window. It is very, very clean – perfectly eye clean. One tiny inclusion towards one corner (strongly magnified in video), visible from the back only and even then only noticeable when you know what to look for.
No lab report yet, but I am happy to provide a full report from either GIA or AGL which will state "no indications of heating". The lab report is my cost and can be obtained within 5 business days.

I almost forgot that I have these. Super blazing green emerald melee, from the famed mines of Sandawana, Zimbabwe. Probably the best melee emerald in the market.
The magic with Sandawana emeralds is that even the tiniest ones are very visible and show a strong green color as vivid as usually only seen in full size emeralds.
They are ideal as accent stones (as parts of a halo, on ring shanks, and of course they are great for eternity bands, too).
Size: +/- 1.5 mm each
Shape/Cut: Square step cut
Treatment: Oil (as far as I can see under the microscope, very little to nothing present)
Color: Vivid green
I have a total of 50 pieces left. I am selling those in little parcels of 10 pieces. Price for a set of 10 pieces is $99. All 50 together would be $395 (= a 20% discount applied).
Payment through Paypal (goods & services), 7 day return period, free shipping within US.

Still sorting through my melee gemstones. This well matched set of 8 emeralds really stands out for the vivid color and excellent clarity.
Size: +/- 2 mm each
Weight: 0.34 ct total
Color: Vivid Green
Treatment: 100% untreated, in my opinion; to be on the safe side (always good with emeralds...) I sell them as "minor oil"
Origin: Panjshir, Afghanistan
Combined with diamonds these would make a stunning eternity band.
The antique ring (second picture) is for size reference and not included in the sale (available through my Etsy shop, though).

These two little rubies came in a parcel of larger rubies which are now at AGL. Given the tiny size of these two stones, I did not want to bother with an AGL report for these. However, I got a verbal from a GIA graduate that they are unheated, and I unconditionally vouch for the treatment status "unheated".
The color is extraordinary, very vivid, and the clarity is excellent as well. The origin is unknown, but I have reason to assume that they are Asian (not Burma though, honestly). They are fiery little drops of red and very visible despite their small size.
Please see a video here: https://youtu.be/8gfLX8e9R6g
Ruby 1: a little more pure-red than the other stone, 0.21 ct, 4.16 x 2.63 x 2.12 mm, $155 SOLD
Ruby 2: a little more pink-red than the other stone [although less pink than the first two pictures suggest], even better clarity, 0.17 ct, 3.92 x 2.05 x 1.73 mm, $125

I just picked these two little sparklers from a parcel of Umba sapphire. They really stuck out with their very special (and perfectly matching...) color.
I feel lucky to have found such a perfect color match in this rare color and would really like to give them into loving hands that can appreciate their uniqueness.
Size: 3.5 and 3.4mm
Weight: 0.42 ct total weight
Cut: Round brilliant, very crisp and window-free
Clarity: perfectly eye clean
Color: bright and open light to medium green (some will call it mint, some will call it pistachio...)
Origin: Umba Valley, Tanzania
Treatment: none
At this price point I cannot include certification with the gems, but of course I could provide either an AGL or GIA at cost. In any case, I guarantee these sapphires to be unheated.

***SOLD***
This is an unheated ruby of truly rare, top quality. The color is exceptional, the paperwork is great, and some inclusions (nothing critical, see below) allow me to offer it at a still affordable price.
Weight: 1.13 ct
Dimensions: 7.15 x 4.99 x 3.51 mm (will fit any stock setting)
Cut/Shape: Antique style cushion; well cut, no window
Color: Vivid Red / Pigeon Blood red, no pink (yet not darkish)
Clarity: there are some inclusions, inside the gem; no dark spots, nothing ugly; the inclusions do not take away from the fire; no issues with structural integrity; please note that the pictures are strongly magnified, when viewed on your hand the face up impression of this gem is eye clean
Origin: Vietnam (see comment on report)
Treatment: none (unheated/untreated)
Report: Lotus Gemology (the lab run by the famous gemologist Richard W. Hughes, one of the best if not the best lab for rubies in the world)

This is a truly antique Imperial Topaz, cut approximately 100 years ago but never set. It is cut in a very charming, OEC like antique modified brilliant cut with a small culet.
The stone is very brilliant. In the hand shot and the face up pictures it looks a little muddy, which it is not. Despite its age it is in flawless condition (no nicks, no chips, etc.). Would look fantastic in a simple yellow or rose gold ring setting.
Weight: 0.87 ct
Dimensions: +/- 5.30 mm diameter, depth 4.25 mm
Color: rich buttery yellow
Clarity: eye clean
Treatments: none known

These two little rubies are unheated and a true blood red – highly saturated yet very lively and not darkish. Quite rare in this small, affordable size.
They both measure a tiny bit over 3mm in diameter, the total weight is 0.31 ct, and they are eye clean.
I would be happy to set these either into simple 4-prong, 6-prong or martini stud settings (flat $100 in 14K), or into tiny halo settings with 9 diamonds around each ruby (around $300 total depending on diamond quality).
The price includes priority shipping within the US. Payment through Paypal (goods & services), 7 day no questions asked return period [for the loose stones, not on custom earrings].

These have been in my personal collection for a while, and I thought it's the right time to look for a new home for these bright autumn-colored beauties.
They are made in Switzerland, vintage, about 20-30 years old, and in excellent condition.
The Chrysoberyls are about 5.90 mm (diameter) and 4.00 mm deep, weight is approximately 0.90 ct each. They are extremely well cut (not the smallest hint of a window), very sparkly and brilliant, and the color is just gorgeous. It's a super lush yellow, with just the right amount of green in it for bright neon overtones. These stones are definitely a flashy choice.
There are 6 diamonds in total, approximately 0.08 ct each for a total diamond weight of 0.48 ct. Fine quality, my estimate is F-G/VVS.
The metal work is 18K white gold, the diamonds are set in bezels with very delicate milgrain, the chrysoberyls are held by 6 small double claw prongs each, quite a refined look. Good quality leverbacks, comfy to wear.
The price includes priority shipping within the US. Payment through Paypal (goods & services), 7 day no questions asked return period.

This is a fabulous unheated Ceylon sapphire, weighing 3.07 ct.
The color is a medium cornflower-type blue, not too light and not too dark. Technically not a “vivid blue“ (hence the reasonable price), but very pleasant to look at, and perfectly even without color zoning.
It is completely eye clean, and well cut without window. With almost perfect 9x7mm in size, it will fit in any stock setting.
Unheated with AGL gem brief.
In my Etsy shop it‘s listed at $4999, which is already a great price, but I won‘t mind requests for additional holiday discounts :)

This antique cushion offers fantastic bang for the buck, because it is only graded GIA K/Si1 but faces up bright and white like an ice cube, thanks to the powerful blue fluorescence (quite often not a flaw, but a feature, if you ask me).
However, you pay for the GIA color grade, not the subjective whiteness, so this is a great deal for anyone who wants a big antique diamond without breaking the bank.
GIA report number 5192966199, or see second picture
Luxurious face up dimensions of 6.64 x 6.06 mm, all original (guaranteed antique) condition without modifications, including the unpolished girdle (perfectly healthy and incredibly beautiful), nice large culet, big chunky facets for strong rainbow-colored sparkle and beautiful play with the light
The last picture is for inspiration, that‘s the kind of ring that I would make with this if I could keep it for myself. This or a completely different style, I would be happy to hand fabricate a gold or platinum mounting for you at a special package price with this diamond
Price includes shipping anywhere, payment through Etsy or Paypal, 7 day no-questions-asked return period

This is the best small blue sapphire pair that I could find at the AGTA gem fair in Tucson.
- 1.18 ct total weight
- 5.8 x 4.8 mm face up
- unheated (guaranteed, can be backed up by an AGL report)
- Ceylon origin
- better than eye clean
- very well cut, excellent polish
The color is a highly saturated vivid cornflower blue, transitioning into a light royal blue – very vibrant, never pale, never dark. Considered the ideal sapphire color by many.
These would make killer earrings (please ask for in-house setting options), or extraordinary side stones to complement a very special center stone.

*** These lovely stones were practically sold two times, and then the sale did not go through. That is why they are available again ***
I was looking through old gem parcels in my safe the other day, actually looking for a larger size ruby, when I found this magnificent parcel of small, fine quality unheated rubies, old stock.
In my opinion this is most likely material from Burma (see last picture for the ultra strong fluorescence under UV light!) and unconditionally guaranteed by me to be 100% unheated/untreated.
There are 12 pieces, well matched, each around 2.70 mm in diameter, with a total weight of 1.53 ct. The color is a fiery pink-red, neither pale nor darkish, great glow, very typical of the origin, and they are perfectly eye clean.
Thanks to the round cut these would be extremely versatile to use -- how about combining them with diamonds for a huge eternity band, dangly earrings, smaller three or five stone rings, ruby cluster stud earrings, by-the-yard necklace, or even a super posh ruby halo around another big, big colored stone?
Blow out price of $599 [way below current wholesale] for the whole set, including 2nd day shipping within the US. Payment through Etsy and/or Paypal, 7 days no questions asked return period.

I have shown this ruby here on LT before, but thought it deserves to be showcased again.
It is superb quality with excellent color and clarity, and a particularly pure, highly saturated red (no orange, no pink, nothing but red). And of course it is unheated!
I know that many LT'ers and PS'ers prefer AGL over GIA, so now I offer it with a *free* upgrade to an AGL Prestige Origin report (sale conditional on AGL confirming the GIA report, of course).
All details on this gorgeous unheated ruby in my Etsy listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/677853505/unheated-ruby-107-ct-pigeon-blood-red

This is a very attractive bright neon green emerald pair with excellent clarity and a truly vibrant color with fabulous glow. Even nicer than pictures can show. Rare quality.
They are probably from Zambia and I can guarantee that they would certify (GIA or AGL) as “minor“ clarity enhancement.
Dimensions: 3.88 x 3.81 x 2.43mm and 3.81 x 3.79 x 2.86mm
Weight: 0.55 ct (total)
If desired, I would be delighted to set these into earrings for you (simple studs, halo studs, accented with lever backs, ....).

This is a lovely unheated sapphire ring that I got as a trade-in, so I am in a position to pass it on to someone at a really good price.
The ring is in impeccable pre-loved condition, I just re-polished the metal, gave it a fresh coat of rhodium, and had the center sapphire AGL certified (Gem Brief, see last picture).
The sapphire is certified unheated/untreated and shows a color change, AGL certified as “strong“, from blue to purple. Both colors show with very high saturation, it is a rather deeply colored, moody gem, yet never blackish or anything close to it. In some light the purple has a very vibrant, almost hypnotic character.
Eye clean, well cut, no window (it has a little culet though, like an antique diamond, very cute).
The setting is well made 14K white gold, 20 decent quality accent diamonds, around 0.15 ct total. Currently an approximate size 8.5 (US).
Weekend deal: Price includes shipping and laser sizing to your size (then not returnable, though).

This is a 12 piece set of finest quality moonstone, each a little over 3mm (most 3.05-3.10mm), with a total weight of 1.66 ct.
Highest grade of blue sheen quality from Ceylon/Sri Lanka, quite rare these days (and not to be confused with treated/coated material that owes its blue sheen to surface coating...these stones are guaranteed 100% untreated).
Please note: as all (untreated) moonstone, these stones are almost colorless when backlit or viewed on a white background. They show their fantastic blue sheen when presented on a dark background, as in my pictures, or set into non-white metal (yellow or rose gold works very well). The most spectacular way to set these would be in gold dipped in black rhodium (something I can supply, too).
Pictures are taken in daylight and are not edited.
Would work well as a super posh halo around a larger cabochon, as dangly earrings, or why not as a by-the-yard necklace?

*** Re-posting an old listing. I am clearing out some stock that does not really fit my business model, and since I am usually only working with unheated corundum, I am now offering this piece at a flash sale price of $499. Was $1100, already a good price for 1 ct+ gem quality natural ruby ***
This is an extremely lovely ruby that came in a parcel of unheated ruby and, unfortunately, tested as heated during GIA QA batch testing, all others as unheated. Since I’m usually dealing in unheated ruby only, this one is up for grabs for a bargain price.
Weight: 1.08 ct
Dimensions: 6.90 x 5.90 x 2.70 mm
Color: purplish-red (classic “Siam old mine”, very close to Lotus color “Fuchsia”)
Clarity: eye clean
Comments: vintage stone, slight abrasions (visible in magnified pictures, not with naked eye), one natural in pavilion
Origin: Thailand (my assumption, based on gemological characteristics)
Treatment: heated, most likely heat-only, definitely not glass filled (guaranteed, GIA batch tested, copy can be supplied)
Video of this lovely stone available, please simply send a message or email to inken@enhoerning-jewelry.com
Price includes tracked shipping anywhere. 7 days no-questions-asked return policy.

Freshly AGL certified unheated/untreated, this is a great sapphire for everyone looking for a white/colorless round stone with full 7mm diameter face up.
Very well cut (brilliant/brilliant), flowery cut pattern (yes, similar to an OEC), no window, slim belly, sparkly, perfectly eye clean.
Weight: 1.67 ct
Dimensions: 7.05 - 6.99 x 4.21
Color: near colorless (see AGL report)
Clarity: eye clean
Origin: probably Ceylon (not certified)
Treatment: none (see AGL report)
As a goody, you get strong pinkish fluorescence, causing a white-to-faint-lavender glow in sunlight. What a firework of special effects from this gem!
You can watch a short video of this sapphire here: https://youtu.be/9rw92K8d0mQ
Please note that AGL, diligent as they are, have done a color stability test [usually only interesting for Padparadscha…] on this sapphire, and they found that it technically is one of the rare sapphires with a relaxed vs. active color center. This means: under normal wearing conditions (sometimes exposed to natural daylight) this sapphire will always be “near colorless”. If it is not exposed to any natural light over an extended period of time, however, the color may shift to “pale yellow-orange” and stay that color, until the stone is exposed to UV light again (then it will become near colorless again). A fascinating effect, and I think quite collectible with the neat AGL documentation on this rare gemological observation
Please let me know if you wish to hear a full explanation of the relaxed/active color center phenomenon. The important thing is, however: this sapphire is unheated/untreated, as confirmed by AGL, and it will appear near colorless most of the time.
The price includes shipping anywhere, safe payment through regular Paypal (no F&F), 7 day no-questions-asked return policy.

Incredible deal for old cut lovers. Super spready (8mm+) GIA certified L color, I1 clarity transitional cut (GIA language “circular brilliant”) with a large culet. Looks really gorgeous, faces up very white for a “L” and the I1 clarity does not take away from the overall beauty of this stone.
All in all the diamond looks much nicer in real life than what the close up pictures suggest. I1 diamonds always look terrible through a macro lens, but on the hand this one is really nice and not far away from eye clean. If you think it is too included in real life, that is what my return policy is for :)

Comes set in a finely made 18K white gold solitaire by the great Swiss house of Bucherer (stamped 750 for 18K and CB for Carl F. Bucherer). Gold weight 6.50 gram. If you do not want the ring mounting, no problem, I unset it for you and will take $400 off the price = $4100 for the unmounted diamond.
The ring mounting was just re-polished and got a fresh coat of rhodium. Currently an approximate size 6 1/2 (US). I am happy to laser size the ring for you free of charge.
The ring comes with an insurance appraisal from Bucherer, giving a replacement value of CHF 12,000 (= $12,235 as of today), dating from May 2010.

This is a lovely sapphire, freshly AGL certified unheated (see last picture), featuring a very well executed and unique cut pattern, an antique cushion cut with an extra high crown (quite rare in elongated cushions) and large, chunky facets.
Here is a video of this little lovely, taken by the window, natural daylight only: https://youtu.be/SM9agpRH8Wk
The pictures are taken in daylight, too, and are not edited.
Weight: 1.13 ct
Dimensions: 6.10 x 4.85 x 4.28 mm
Color: pure blue, intense saturation, medium-dark tone
Origin: most likely Ceylon, but not certified as such
Treatment: none
Certification: AGL gem brief
Please note: this is a fine little sapphire with a lot of charm. No color zoning, eye clean, no condition issues (newly cut, despite the antique-ish look). The color can be considered “fine” by traditional standards, but it is NOT one of the ultra “glowy” sapphires that I have been selling recently. Priced accordingly and quite a steal, in my opinion.
I believe this one would look very sweet in an east-west ring design, possibly as a three stone ring. Put a 15-pointer diamond left, and one 15-pointer right, and you are all set for a small but powerful trilogy ring.
As always, free shipping anywhere. Payment through regular Paypal (not F&F). 7 day no-question-asked return policy.

This is an interesting find from the back of my safe – freshly GIA certified Burma & unheated, but with some issues.
:::::: These issues are: some color zoning face-up, (faintly) eye-visible inclusions face-up, more eye-visible inclusions pavilion-up. :::::
Apart from that, it is quite a stunning gem. The color is a gorgeous, vividly saturated and glowy blue.

The still pictures are quite merciless, intended to show off the issues mentioned above. The video is a bit more flattering and shows what my eyes see in most situations.
Priced as a deal, considering the issues.
Weight: 1.98 ct
Dimensions: 8.05 x 5.88 x 4.75 mm (will fit a 8x6 stock mounting)
Shape: oval (brilliant cut crown, step cut pavilion)

I would be happy to set this sapphire into a ring or pendant for you – please inquire for options.
