This is a 12 piece set of finest quality moonstone, each a little over 3mm (most 3.05-3.10mm), with a total weight of 1.66 ct.

Highest grade of blue sheen quality from Ceylon/Sri Lanka, quite rare these days (and not to be confused with treated/coated material that owes its blue sheen to surface coating...these stones are guaranteed 100% untreated).

Please note: as all (untreated) moonstone, these stones are almost colorless when backlit or viewed on a white background. They show their fantastic blue sheen when presented on a dark background, as in my pictures, or set into non-white metal (yellow or rose gold works very well). The most spectacular way to set these would be in gold dipped in black rhodium (something I can supply, too).

Pictures are taken in daylight and are not edited.

Would work well as a super posh halo around a larger cabochon, as dangly earrings, or why not as a by-the-yard necklace?
