The center stone was my grandmother's and when I had it polished, the jeweler, the lapidary, and a person very well acquainted with tsavorite all told me they thought this was a tsav. Eventually I had it appraised and was shocked (SHOCKED!) to find out this was actually a CZ. The appraiser ran the tests again in front of my jeweler and it's definitely not tsavorite. I put Wink's CZs as the side stones and tried wearing the ring for what it was- just a pretty colored stone ring. I find myself never wearing this ring, though. I don't know if the sentimentalism is gone now that I know it's not real or what, but I'm trying to rehome it. The setting is 18kt yellow gold (and white gold for the cz baskets). It is a size 4. The CZs are 7x5 colorless and the center stone is 10x8. It is a beautiful ring and I get compliments all the time on it. Please note the wedding ring pictured is not included.
