Pretty as a picture means it must deserve a frame ... this Old European Cut diamond & sapphire engagement ring delivers. :)

The pierced platinum filigree target setting holds a .40 point diamond of G color & VS1 clarity, with excellent symmetry & cut. It is surrounded by a halo of 8 french-cut baguette calibre sapphires weighing in at .35tcw, with an additional .10 points of single-cut diamonds on the shoulders. The face of the ring measures 8.8mm square, and the shank tapers to a comfortable 1.7mm at the back. It is lovingly engraved and milgrained, and in very good vintage condition: there is some natural wear, as can be seen in the pictures, but this is a ring that's lasted 100 years and looks ready to go another 100. Currently a size 6.25, but easily rezsizable, this Art Deco beauty would make a wonderful engagement ring, RHR, celebration ring ... you name it!
