The opal is just a tad under 7x5 and the spinel melee ranges in size from 2.5mm (I believe) down to about 1.5 mm. The ring is only a couple of years old and has been worn lightly. Men's 14K white gold 1950's-era Gypsy-style blue star sapphire ring with tapered-baguette side diamonds. AGL Prestige Gem Report CS1074942 from 2016 included stating blue, oval, cabochon, 13.1 x 10.0 x 10.58 mm with weak asterism and no heat and no additional treatment with carat-weight not determined (i.e., graded while in setting). Ring weight is ~ 19 grams and approximately size 7 1/4. The photos are what the ring actually looks like. I am a photographer and the saturation and blue channel have not been enhanced (and it drives me nuts when sellers do that). The photo showing the star is about as good as the star gets in direct sunlight. In terms of color, it's a pretty denim-y almost opalescent blue that is perfect for a man's ring. Much of the stone is transparent when viewed from the side but face-up I’d have to say it's translucent. It looks best in bright sun, although the inclusions are more visible (see photos). I have worn it off and on for a few years and it gets a lot of compliments — but just developed a nickel allergy and can no longer wear it. I plan to list for short time and then take the ad down and consign it locally. Ships to US only, insured, with signature required. Selling a lovely vivid mint green tourmaline set in 18kt yellow gold with a diamond halo. I've had this stone for several years and it is a lovely one - saturated mint green and great cutting. It was purchased at Intergem and I don't have the exact carat weight of this stone, but it measures about 7.5mm by 6.5mm. It's a great size on the hand. This setting was originally part of necklace and was converted to a ring by Quest Jewelers. Beautiful detailing on the gallery under the stone. The ring is currently a size 6 or 5.75. Vintage sterling silver setting set with a 1.25 carat natural oregon sunstone. The design on the band goes all the way around and is very intricate for silver. The sunstone has beautiful facets and a gorgeous peach color that closely resembles morganite. The stone alone is worth a few hundred dollars.
