Beautiful, gemmy unset red ruby with an AGL brief. Unheated rubies are not common. The ruby is an unheated earth mined cushion mixed cut. It measures 6.37 x 5.11 x 3.62mm. It has a very clean crystal . As for a secondary color it leans towards pink. It has a native cut. I have included the vendor's photo in this listing and a photo taken under fluorescent light so you can see it at its worst. A top quality old stock Vietnamese color change spinel up for sale here. The rough was mined in the Bai Son mine in An Phu, Luc Yen. During a few years the mine produced this super fine blue colors without tone or bad hues. Almost always tiny and included rough in light tones. Some with and some without color change, but nearly always medium light to light. During the last couple of years nothing significant came out in the Bai Son mine anymore. Such a intense medium color is very rare and eye clean (even loupe clean) in that size one of a kind! Precisely cut in Europe. The color changes from a lovely blue in Morning daylight to a lavender blue in the Afternoon to a pure lavender in incandescent light.
