This is a showpiece of an antique engagement ring! I bought it because it reminds me of a Kate Middleton engagement ring, except just not sapphire!
In the center is a natural faceted blood red garnet, measuring approximately 10mm by 8mm, estimated weight of 2.80ct. There is a scratch on the table and small flea bites to facet edges. Not bothersome to me. It is bezeled in either white gold or platinum.
Surrounding the garnet is a halo of blazing white single cut diamonds! They are individually set in either platinum or white gold, and I was told they are E color and VS1+ clarity. They really glow! The workmanship is amazing. They measure about .05ct each, for a total diamond weight of approximately .70ct.
The shank of the ring is yellow gold, and has a somewhat worn inscription that reads GRACE 1935 LOVE OLIVER. It's really solidly made, weighs 7 grams, and is a size 6 3/4 and sizable.
The head measures approximately 3/4" by 5/8" wide and sits 3/8" off the finger. I've gotten TONS of compliments on this ring!
I'm selling because I've made quite a few purchases lately...
Final sale, I have 100% feedback on eBay and good feedback as well on BTD forum. PayPal to confirmed address only please.
