Description

This pretty little thing is an early Victorian ‘dress’ ring. Dress rings are similar to cocktail rings; they are meant to be colorful and a little ostentations, perfect for up-scale society parties. Being Victorian, there are many engraved details throughout the head and shank.

The purple-ish red stones are garnets and the little green gems are emeralds. The majority of the ring is 18k gold. At some point, the very back of the shank was replaced. On the inside of the shank, there are two sets of hand engraved initials, hinting that it was a lovers gift :)

The ring weighs just under 2 grams and is a size 7. It can be resized if necessary. Ships from SoCal. For payments, I use PayPal invoices.

*The ring is in overall good condition considering its age with only minor signs of wear on the metal. The stones are in overall in good condition, just one of the garnets has a chip.
