I have never seen a Sapphire do such a nice impersonation of a Peridot. If you have been wanting a Peridot for a ring stone, but didn't want to worry about its durability issues, then here you go!
Its very well cut, as you can see, and extremely clean--at least Eyeclean. I haven't had it certified, but I stand behind this stone as being untreated and from Madagascar.
This is a round brilliant cut, and it measures 5.8mm. I see no problem why it couldn't fit a calibrated 6mm setting with a little tweaking.
Very rare find. It is not brownish, bluish, or overdark like most every other green Sapphire I've seen. It is a beautiful green. Excuse my mediocre photography.
