This is a nice Uraguayan Amethyst, untreated, in a deep saturated purple.

The stone has an excellent cut, and measures 10mm across in a square cushion. It is eyeclean.

The color is a deep, saturated Purple. It has strong blue tones in natural light and more of a red/pink component in flourescent light. It is a dark stone, for sure, but never appears black...just a very strongly saturated velvety purple.

Since I am not a vendor, I cannot accept returns. However, I will ship for free.

The first picture is the vendor picture, (Jeff Davies) and the other two are mine on my camera phone, which I took near a window on a cloudy day.
