Bought at her original boutique on Mulberry Street in NYC fifteen years ago, this vintage pendant by Margo Manhattan is a clear precursor to her current Cocktail collection, available on her website (http://shop.margomanhattan.com/). Contemporary equivalents are going for around 1K: I’m asking $200 for this one. The lemon quartz measures approximately 23 mm in length by approximately 19 mm in width by precisely 12.3 mm in depth – weight is calculated to be approximately 28 carats. A definite conversation piece!

There are some faint abrasions on the keel, which I've factored into the price: a good lapidary could polish that out for a minimal fee, but they're not eye-visible. The pendant is a bit tarnished, as reflects its age ... I'd be happy to polish it up at the request of the buyer (to my taste, the darkened silver worked well with the modern Gothic feel of the piece). As you can see in the last picture, the bale opens to be worn as an enhancer over pearls or a heavy necklace or chain - I had it wired shut for additional security, but the wire can be removed without any difficulty. It comes with its original pouch – great for the collector of vintage signed pieces.
