Up for sale is a lovely, antique art deco round shaped synthetic ruby with 2 french cut diamonds set on each side of the center (4 diamonds total). The stones are set in platinum and the rest of the ring is crafted in 18K yellow gold. The synthetic ruby measures approximately 7mm in diameter and is prong set in the center -- one of the prongs is missing and will need to be repaired and/or can be set with a different stone by your local jeweler if so desired. The diamonds are approximately G-I in color and VS1-SI1 in clarity. Total diamond weight is approximately 0.20ctw. It is an antique ring and there is some wear to the prongs, shank and the setting itself - please see pictures. The diamonds are channel set and are secure in the setting. It is currently approximately a size 7 and can be re-sized within reason by your local jeweler. The inside of the band is not marked but it has been tested to be 18K yellow gold & platinum. It weighs approximately 2.51 grams. Antique french cut diamond bands are hard to come by & are typically quite costly. This ring works perfectly as an antique engagement/wedding/anniversary ring and worn stacked with other bands.
