Elegant, sleek, and built like a tank: that's what I look for in an eternity band!
This heavy 18k band is channel-set with 35 square step-cut diamonds of approximately .06 points each for a total of 2.1 carats. The quality of the diamonds is excellent - they've been appraised as being F-G in color and VS in clarity - and the workmanship is very good, with clean, narrow channels. I wore this as a flanking band for a while, but since I let its "big sister" go a while back, I find I'm just not wearing this one as much by itself. Why let it languish in the box when someone else could be cherishing it?
Measuring in at 2.75mm, this band looks fantastic on its own, stacked with others, or worn with a solitaire (it's pictured with a 2.5 carat solitaire for perspective: the solitaire is not included in this listing). The timeless streamlined design permits you to wear it almost anywhere.
The diamonds are carre cut: although they're sometimes called asschers, technically speaking that only applies to the square step cut with the clipped corners ... in an eternity band, personally speaking, I tend to prefer the unbroken line. A ring with more or less the exact same specs will probably retail for around 5.5K: I'm asking a third of that at $1700. It's a size 6 and probably not sizable (though never say never: sizing pads can bring a ring down by half a size, and a good jeweler can sometimes file a band out by a quarter to a half size to bring it up). Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can answer any questions or provide any additional pictures from different angles.
