A nifty antique/vintage band I bought in Sweden thinking it would look great with my e-ring! Hah, more fool I: from now on, I don't buy to match unless the piece I'm matching is right there, ‘cause despite my most optimistic hopes, it looks a little too clash-y* to my eye. That said, it’s a very cool ring and a very cool stacker! Size 6.5, rich 18k yellow gold, 2.2mm in width, with seven rose-cut stones that are 1.8mm in diameter (approximately .20 points tcw, give or take, according to my best estimation). The box settings themselves are done in platinum, with a very fine milgrain surrounding them. It's engraved "Göran," the Swedish equivalent of "George," in a fine hand. It would be easy enough to have polished out, though I have to admit, I quite like this little touch of its 100 years or so of history ....
*It's pictured below with my solitaire and my french-cut band for a sense of scale, but *only the rose-cut band* is being sold in this listing.
