3.5ct Merelani mint garnet precision cut by Gene Flanigan (Precisiongem) in 2014. This stone has never been set. It measures 9.5 x 7.84 x 6.2mm These stones have gone up substantially in price in the last few years and Gene told me in an email that concave cut stones take a lot longer to cut so usually carry a premium. Previously set (gently removed) 2.88ct Lavender (no gray) oval spinel sold by PrimaGemsUSA. Stone measures 7.4 x 10.1. I set this in a setting made for a 9 x 7 stone, but it looked too large for the setting, so I removed it and it's been living in a gem box ever since. (photo in previous setting attached). 18k wg diamond ring shaped like a flower with diamond pedals. The current 8mm center stone is a light yellow moissanite to give it the impression of a flower. The stone is semi-translucent, but is heavily included which means you don't always get an actual star when it's in the light. I would consider it an included semi-translucent bubble gum pink cabochon sapphire that occasionally produces a star. This is more of a "fun" stone, but it's in a very nice platinum setting with nice diamonds. I'm only selling because I'd have to have it rebuilt to wear it.
