Rare large 4.49ct Mahenge Garnet precision cut by Gene Flanigan at Precision Gem this summer. I snapped this beauty as soon as it came up and it has been sitting in a box ever since. Gene's description: A rare larger Mahenge Garnet. The production of these stones is over, and stones over 3 carats are very hard to find. This one measures 9.612 mm and is cut in my custom round design, made especially for garnets.
