Description

Rare large 4.49ct Mahenge Garnet precision cut by Gene Flanigan at Precision Gem this summer. I snapped this beauty as soon as it came up and it has been sitting in a box ever since. My interests have taken a different path and it's only fair for this beauty to be set and adored. The first image is vendor's picture; the rest are mine.

Gene's description:
A rare larger Mahenge Garnet. The production of these stones is over, and stones over 3 carats are very hard to find. This one measures 9.612 mm and is cut in my custom round design, made especially for garnets.

Color: 9/10 Clarity: 9/10 Brilliance: 5/5 TQR: 9.3

There's a small natural that didn't cut out along the girdle line. Gene confirmed that it has no effect on the integrity of the stone. It is not visible in normal viewing.
