Delicate antique buttercup setting holds an old mine cut (OMC) diamond. I was told the ring was found with a few others tucked inside of a wool sock, behind a wall in an 1880s home that was being remodeled. Whether or not that's true, it does stir the imagination. The ring is a size 5, and I wouldn't recommend sizing it up unless the jeweler replaces part of the shank, as a section of it is thin. Sizing down would be fine, and it's certainly wearable as is. The stone is lightly warm in color, about a third of a carat, the best kind of chunky, and eye- and loupe-clean. Asking $395; insured shipping to a U.S. address is included in the price. Bright white and sparkly center OEC diamond (measures about 4.5 mm) with faint blue fluorescence is encircled by 10 smaller OEC diamonds (about 2.3 mm each), all well secured by an artful mix of single and fishtail prongs. Band has three tiny diamonds on each side of the cathedral setting, is marked "Platinum," and has two sizing beads, removable by a jeweler, that allow it to fit comfortably between sizes 5.25 and 6. This .76-carat AVC faces up bright and white, with fire for days, and a warm vanilla tone (as Jonathan describes it) when viewed from the side. It's an O/VS1 and a mined diamond. Absolutely eye-clean. It measures 5.17 x 5.67 x 3.48 mm. I would have loved to set her in a rose gold half-bezel, but my project list is so long that I don't see that happening anytime soon. Absolute perfection! The morganite glows peach in sunlight and under LED, pink-peach in indirect sunlight and incandescent lighting, and sometimes it assumes a subtler peach shade. I tried to get photos of all its moods. Offers nice finger coverage of 17.3mm x 15.6mm. The morganite measures 10mm x 8mm. The band tapers from 3mm to 1.9mm. Eternity band with Carre-cut sapphires and round brilliant diamonds channel-set in platinum. It's a size 6 and not sizable. I'm selling it because my ring size has changed, and now it's too big for either of my ring fingers and too small for either of my middle fingers. Excellent condition. Beautiful opal cabochon set in 14K yellow gold, with two diamond accent stones. Ring fits halfway between 5.25 and 5.5, and it's sizable.
