This 5 stone u-prong asscher cut diamond band is a beauty, and she's up for sale! It is a shame how little I wear this ring, which is why I am selling it. Though I love the asscher cut, I find that I am more prone to wearing round cut diamonds on a daily basis. I bought this ring preloved on Diamondbistro about two years ago for $1,700. Since I bought it, I have only wore it a handful of times. The ring shows no wear, and is in perfect condition. The diamonds equal 1.50 ctw. and are set in 18K white gold. The diamonds are H/I in color and have a VS1 clarity. I can honestly say that the diamonds are brilliantly clear, which is especially important with the asscher cut. I had a hard time capturing just how clear the diamonds are, and how amazing the step cuts are, with nighttime lighting. I'm hoping to take pictures with natural sunlight in the next day or two to help capture the clarity and step cuts better. H/I in color may seem too warm to some people. I'm pretty color sensitive, and I find these stones to be so lovely. Most of the time they look very white. If I look at the ring from the side, I can see a hint of warmth; however, with the step cut, the subtle warmth that I detect from time to time just seems to work with the asscher cuts.
