The diamond weighs 1.03 carats. It is very white, in the F-G color range. Clarity is I1. There are no black carbon spots. Only a couple white clouds that are visible upon close inspection.
The diamond is well cut and looks beautiful on the hand. Set in a classic 4 prong white gold setting. Marked with the carat weight of the diamond as well as 14k Magic Glo.

Art Deco platinum ring with accent diamonds.
The center stone is an approximately 4ct oval natural unheated color change sapphire. The color of this sapphire is absolutely amazing! It does have some scratches and facet abrasion commensurate with age but those could easily be polished by a jeweler if you prefer. The sapphire wiggles a bit in the setting but is secure. My jeweler recently retipped the prongs and made sure the setting was in good condition. The last photo shows the color change to purple indoors in low lighting.
