I am selling a pair of diamonds. The diamonds are currently set into yellow gold buttercup earrings (if you are interested in the white gold 8-prong settings -please inquire, as I have a pair to sell that I was going to reset those stones into). They are 0.40 and 0.42 natural old cut diamonds, appr. G-H, VS clarities. I was having some hard time letting them go as they are one in of the best quality OECs I have seen and I was hoping to keep them as side stones. The stones are blazing white. I cannot see any inclusions under the loupe in the stones. They are very nice and clean. Excellent performers(even though my photos are not good, those stones will not disappoint you). Under high magnification, I can see some flea bites on the girdles. Those are minimal and pose no issues for the integrity of the stones, however I wanted to be fully transparent. Here is a gorgeous diamond ring dated back to the beginning of the century. The center diamond was sold to me as 1ct H-VS. It is an OEC of a great make with super small table, high crown and gorgeous Kozibe effect. To my eyes the stone is eye clean at any distance. The stone measures 6.5-6.7 mm with the bezel and is 4.25mm deep. I am not quite sure, whether this stone is actually in a colorless range. Medium blue fluorescence makes this stone look really white and profile is fully hidden in the bezel, so it is hard to tell. This stone make my certified J cushion look tinted/yellowish, so this diamond is definitely a much whiter face up. An on top of this - this diamond is a fireball. This ring has totally adorable profile. Small rose cut diamonds adorn the shoulders of this ring. Main diamond is bezel set and is of high color and clarity. All in all, this ring would make a great engagement ring and of course the diamond itself could be used for any project of your fancy. I am only selling this, as I got an upgrade bug. I am offering for sale a lovely pair of matched OEC diamonds perfect for studs or three stone. Appr. 1.2 ctw, they have a great size of appr. 5.2 m on average (dimensions vary between 5.1-5.3mm). They face up whiter than my certified J color solitaire, which is why I decided not to use them as side stones in my planned three stone project. One of the two diamonds have one inclusion I can see, but it is located directly on the girdle, next to a minor chip, visible only under the loupe or if one run a nail along the girdle. As per my jeweler, this can be easily hidden under a prong and poses no further structural risk. As usual with antique stones there are some minor nicks on the girdle, that can be easily polished out, but I never bothered to do it. I added a close up macro shot for you to see it for yourself.
