It pains me to let this one go but I'm really more of a yellow gold person. This is a stunning french cut sapphire band in a size 5.75-6. I wear a 6 and it fits,it all depends on whether you plan to stack or not. The sapphires shift from a deep indigo to a cornflower blue depending on the light. There are 27 stones total and the band width is 2.7mm. Two of the sapphires were damaged so I had them replaced though the channel wall still has a tiny chip in it. but its not noticeable when looking straight on at the band, just from the side in profile. This could still be fixed but the sapphires are safe and secure so I didn't see the point in risking damage. It looks beautiful on its own or as a wedding band and has a lightly worn leaf engraving along the side. I am happy to consider offers, please let me know if you would like to see any other photos. Men's 14K white gold 1950's-era Gypsy-style blue star sapphire ring with tapered-baguette side diamonds. AGL Prestige Gem Report CS1074942 from 2016 included stating blue, oval, cabochon, 13.1 x 10.0 x 10.58 mm with weak asterism and no heat and no additional treatment with carat-weight not determined (i.e., graded while in setting). Ring weight is ~ 19 grams and approximately size 7 1/4. The photos are what the ring actually looks like. I am a photographer and the saturation and blue channel have not been enhanced (and it drives me nuts when sellers do that). The photo showing the star is about as good as the star gets in direct sunlight. In terms of color, it's a pretty denim-y almost opalescent blue that is perfect for a man's ring. Much of the stone is transparent when viewed from the side but face-up I’d have to say it's translucent. It looks best in bright sun, although the inclusions are more visible (see photos). I have worn it off and on for a few years and it gets a lot of compliments — but just developed a nickel allergy and can no longer wear it. I plan to list for short time and then take the ad down and consign it locally. Ships to US only, insured, with signature required.
