I am selling a WhiteFlash Petite Champagne setting with a custom platinum head made by Quest Jewelers. Quest originally replaced the peghead in this setting to the integrated head that you see in the ring. The sale is for the setting only, which held a half carat white diamond (5.1 mm diameter, as shown in the picture). The ring is a size 4.25. The setting is made of 18K yellow gold, with diamond melee, and a platinum head. The jeweler who removed the center stone said that the prongs may need to be retipped. Hello! I am selling a gorgeous Old European Cut diamond in an original (unmarked but tested) platinum Art Deco setting. According to EGL USA, the diamond is J/VS1, and I also cannot see any inclusions with my loupe. I know that EGL certificates are not always well-regarded, but I will include an appraisal from a GIA Graduate Gemologist that verifies the diamond's specifications. The setting is a size 5.5-6; it is beautiful, but please note that there is a very small side diamond missing that could be easily replaced. This is a beautiful antique piece that was purchased from another member just recently. It is a ring that I have longed for since I first saw it, but unfortunately it is simply incompatible with my lifestyle, and putting it away until kids are grown makes no sense since I am really quite far from that place! The ring is a stunning piece of art. Low set, it is easy to wear, and the flashes of light are oustanding. The engraving on the shank only extends about half the way down, but it's breathtakingly delicate. There is a freshwater pearl and OEC diamond weighing 0.55cts HI/VS1. The halo of old cut diamonds are HI/VS2-SI1 clarity. It is currently a size 7, and could absolutely be sized.
