It was a size 5 when I bought it. Possibly was a size 6 when it was originally made. Can be easily sized up again, but not sized down, this is as small as it can go. Wintotty's diamond was about 8.5 mm x 8.5 mm I believe. My diamond was 10.23 mm x 9.23 mm. The basket was modified to fit my diamond and sized by Steven Kirsch. Notes: This is a rare find in this size and from this area. This rough was discovered in the Umba River Valley of Tanzania by an individual miner. This stone is dark like most of the blue color change garnets but the size makes up for it. There is a small inclusion in the bottom of the pavilion which is not seen from the table view. There are a couple of small bubbles in the stone and some very light silt. This stone was faceted from the rough. I have been keeping this stone in my personal collection due to the availability of this type of material and along with the size of the stone. However I decided to list it once again to see if we can find it a good home. This is a rare chance to own a large blue color change garnet.
