Most are eye-clean to slightly included, are typically not dark like others can be and come in mostly pure reds and orangey reds- Some lean more toward the purple side as well, such as this stone does. The specimen in this listing was a slightly included piece that I used for a new, experimental pentagon cut of my own design. It turned out so well that I added the stone to my inventory, despite the inclusions. It is a bright stone, glowing in certain lighting and in others just very flashy. I bought this band a few months back from another user on DB, and I truly hate to part with it but unfortunately it's too large for my finger. This is an absolutely gorgeous french cut ruby band with milgraining detail along both edges. The profile is a lovely engraved pattern with milgrain as well. According to the previous owner, it has recently been checked over with touch-ups to the milgrain and engraving by jeweler David Klass. He noted the rubies are nicely matched and in fantastic condition, estimated at aorund 1920's. Width of the ring is 3.2mm, with approx. 2.2cttw + rubies. Size 6.25, there are two small sizing beads that make it fit like a 6. There is also a small sizing bar at the bottom. In 18K white gold.
