Notes: This is very nice large hot pink spinel. The color is a red pink in incandescent light and when viewed in natural sunlight or daylight bulb it shifts to very slight purplish pink. The color is very vibrant and there is very little to no gray in the stone. The tone level of the stone would be classified as medium. The brilliance on this stone is wonderful.

This ring catches light easily and fires back tons of sparkles. The center stone is a 1.01ct H color Si2 clarity (GIA report). I could never see or find any inclusions due to the excellent cut that brings life and brightness evenly through the entire surface. This diamond looks very white. I often compare it to my new F color diamond and barely see any difference. The ring has 2 small diamonds on each side (a marquise and trillion cuts, AAA, 0.25tw) set in 14K yellow gold in size 5. Red/Purple cushion cut spinel, 2.41 carats, dimensions 8x6.4x5.5, expertly cut by Jerry Newman. The color is more reddish indoors and more purple outdoors. In direct sunlight the stone deepens to a dark purple. The stone is a very good size for spinel and has nice sparkle. I think it would look amazing set in white gold. I have included photos that show this spinel at it's best and worst color. The stone is basically eye clean, but in Jerry's highly magnified photo there are some slight inclusions. I cannot believe I am listing these earrings I got from Grace and if they don't sell quickly I will end the listing because I am unsure of letting these beauties go. They are really gorgeous earrings. I got these less than 2 months ago and have only worn them twice. I love them but there is another pair that has caught my eye but I am not sure which I prefer so decided to let fate take care of my decision.
