Opals fascinate me. They didn't until I discovered the ones that weren't doublets or triplets or weren't completely opaque. This one is a 1.09 Ethopian Jelly Opal in a oval shape. It's a solid stone meaning that it's not glued together to make a single stone. The color play reminds me of a Arizona sunset or a sundevil. There are oranges, reds, greens, yellows and purples. Another stone that is seemingly impossible to photograph. ALEXANDRITE! This one is is on the petite side, it's a .47 carats and oval shape. The clarity is a very clean VVS and it has not been treated. The green is a light forest green (not dark at all) and the coloshift orange is on they yellowy orange side. For sale is a lovely white gold Levian-style ring I designed. It features a 1.4 ct by formula oval cut tanzanite center stone, which is surrounded by 15 chocolate (brown) diamonds (.45 ct total weight). An additional 6 brown diamonds at .25 ct total weight (three on each side) adorn the shank. Appraised at $3000. See attached appraisal. I have a certificate on the stone itself which says ct. weight is 1.87, but appraisal went by volume. I've worn it perhaps 5 times. Selling a few things in my collection since I don't get use out of them.
