This gorgeous fireball has big hand presence and is so flashy and fun. I got this spessartite from minousbijoux on Pricescope years ago. It makes me smile every time I look at it. Most of the time it is a glowy orange-red. It takes on more brown in some lights but is always lively and has red and orange flashes. This is a not a precision cut stone and minousbijoux did not have any stats on it when I got it other than natural spessartite garnet. I had ID Jewelry set it into an antique yellow gold and diamond mounting. I do not know much about the setting. I got it from an estate sale in Maine. It has 6 melee diamonds on each side (12 total). The diamonds are white and sparkly and the setting was sold to me as from the late 1800s/early 1900s. ID Jewelry put on a new head, made tiny claw prongs, and polished the setting. From the side, the prongs look slightly uneven to accommodate the non-precision cut of the stone, but I do not find it noticeable when wearing. I love this ring, but it turns out my hands really are as pink-toned as they look in the photos and I realized that I pretty much exclusively wear blue/pink/purple/cool tones, and this gorgeous red-orange doesn't really work for my skin tone. My loss is your gain. This is a great statement piece. The spess is set high and looks fabulous. I get wonderful comments every time I wear it. Center diamond is a brilliant transitional cut stone (similar to mine cut), circa 1940's, .75 points. H in color and VS1 in clarity. Gorgeous stone. The engagement ring has six smaller diamonds in an invisible channel set. 31 points total, G-H in color and SI1 in clarity. Size 4 3/4. The wedding band is size 5 1/2, has 8 diamonds, 45 points, G-H in color and SI1 in clarity. Platinum hallmark and designer marks visible in the platinum. Hello! Just found a new piece that I absolutely have to have, and as always that means things i am not wearing as much/ have been tucked away need to get sold! These are adorable and very well saturated Aqua and diamond earrings. Given to my by my husband many many years ago, I haven't taken them out of the jewelry box in a very long time so they need a good home! Diamonds are tiny and sparkly but "mall grade" - I believe he bought these from Baily Banks and Biddle. Not black or opaque, but not VS by any means. The aquas are truly beautiful though- very nice color and checkerboard faceting, they just glow on the ears. I have very little information on these and do not know the carat weight, but based on my rudimentary measurements I believe its about 1.5 CT in Aqua and 15 pts in diamonds total, but it may be slightly more/ less. Gold is 14K. Since i know so little info, price is nice and low! Hello! Just found a new piece that I absolutely have to have, and as always that means things i am not wearing as much/ have been tucked away need to get sold! This was my original engagement ring setting. I have tried to sell it before but had no luck, so decided to keep it and set it with a gemstone eventually- but since i am trying to get some money together, decided to list it one more time! Setting is in pallidium, set with E-F VS melee.The diamonds are very tiny half pointers (1mm) and set extremely well. The piece was made in CAD and the prongs were hand finished to get that super delicate claw prong. It originally held a 6.3MM diamond. It is VERY low set and two thin bands fit perfectly flush on either side, which is how i used to wear it. I am including pics of it with the stone from before and now when its empty. It is a size 4.5 and may be sizeable a tiny bit, but as the twists go all the way around I don't know how much it could go without compromising the design. You could size it down with beads. The section in the back has no diamonds for durability. Originally paid 2500 for the setting and it was worth every penny and more, asking for a fraction of that. Another spinel and another extremely hard to photograph one at that! I picked this one up from Brad at The Gem Trader. It's a 1.80 oval cut spinel 8.2x6.5 and is flawless/near flawless. This was going to be a "fall stone" project (get it cranberries, fall....etc....) Another spectacular Uli Zeisberg stone for sale! This one is a .83ct Brazilian Goshenite in Uli's signature Ezbar Square cut. It's a modified radiant cut that has shades of a flanders cut but the faceting pattern is kaleidoscope like. It's an extremely clean stone and is icy white. My idea for this one was to set it at a 180 degree angle. It's a great cut and Uli has some of the coolest cuts out there. MM wise it's around 6x6x4. This is a David Klass diamond band with a beautiful infinity design. Design goes 3/4 of the way around the band so it can be re-sized a little (currently a size 4.5). There is a small "quirk" in the band, there is a tiny divot on the back edge (shown in photo.) It doesn't effect the band at all and you can barely see it, but just wanted to point it out. This pretty, sparkly band is 2.5mm wide, delicate and feminine and looks great stacked or paired with a ring. Asking $250 plus shipping, or best offer. Another one from "the purple days". This one is a .73 unheated purplish pink oval cut sapphire I bought from Tan. The purple and pink in this one are pretty much equal in saturation and the color can shift from a hot pink to a more purplish pink color. I guess this was from my purple period, don't get me wrong I still love the color (maybe a little more so with the recent passing of Prince) but maybe just not as much as I used to. I digress, this is a pretty cool purple asscher cut scapolite. It's VVS clarity and is .85 cts. Even though I have put up a number of ovals and cushions, I have a soft spot for asschers. Yes another spinel! This one is a beautiful, but gentle lavender/pink spinel with a hint of sleepiness to it. It's an oval cut with VVS-VS clarity and has never been set into jewelry and is untreated. The color reminds me of spring and my goal at the time was to put in a white gold setting. Another sleepy/silky spinel for your consideration. It's a 1.11 ctw oval cut Nehi orange/pink with a beautiful sleepy glow to it. The stone is untreated and has never been set into jewelry.
