GIA Old European Cut Diamond Sapphire Engagement Ring This beautiful ring gracefully bridges the transition from the Edwardian era (1901–1919) into the early Art Deco period (1920s), blending the light, airy femininity of Edwardian design with the emerging use of colored gemstones and bolder geometric influence that defined Art Deco. At the center, a bright and sparkling GIA-certified 1.10 carat I color, SI1 natural antique diamond is set, surrounded by twinkling accent diamonds and custom french-cut sapphire accents, arranged in an elegant floral motif within a finely crafted platinum mount. In the gallery delicate petals extend from a diamond accent, on the shoulders a finely engraved flower climbs - we adore the details of this beautiful ring. Feminine and richly detailed, it is sure to bring years of joy to its next owner. Having just returned from our expert restoration specialist, it is now ready for a lifetime of admiration and love. Art Deco Blue Zircon Diamond Ring in 14K Yellow Gold & Platinum by Church & Co. This striking Art Deco ring, crafted by the American jewelry house Church & Co., showcases a vivid natural blue zircon at its center, elegantly accented by sparkling single-cut diamonds. The design features a refined combination of 14K yellow gold with a platinum-topped setting, enhancing both brilliance and durability while reflecting the sophisticated geometry of the Art Deco era. We love the detail of a small gold bow at the top of the shoulders and the low profile setting which makes vintage rings so comfortable to wear and enjoy. Having just returned from our expert restoration jeweler it is now in like new condition; This ring is sure to be treasured by its next caretaker. Blue zircon is a naturally mined gemstone prized for its exceptional fire and brilliance, and it is also recognized as a birthstone for December. Zircon is often mistakenly associated with cubic zirconia due to how similar it sounds; however, it is a distinct and valuable natural gem. Some gemologists have even proposed renaming it “Cambolite” to highlight its origins in Cambodia, where many fine specimens are sourced. Historical Note: Founded in 1922 by Charles Church, Church & Co. earned a reputation for producing high-quality die-struck jewelry. The company is especially celebrated for its craftsmanship in fine gemstone pieces and classic signet rings featuring hand engraving, maintaining a legacy of precision and excellence. The company is still actively producing fine American made jewelry in the modern day, continuing a legacy that has endured over 100 years. This is a lovely band that is about 3mm wide and 3 grams. It is BEAUTIFULLY carved with some of the most crisp details I have ever seen in a band. It looks like it has never been worn. It has initials inscribed, which I always find romantic. There is a hallmark that says GWL & Co 18k. When I research this Hallmark, I come up with GW Lewis & Co, who were British Silversmiths active in the 40s. This item is 18k white gold. It is a size 5.75 and is not sizable give the carved design. Please contact me directly at girly underscore 53 at yahoo with questions. Sales are final.
