REDUCED! Hello all! Up for your consideration is a gorgeous platinum diamond watch. It was sold to me as being hand forged and from 1912 [there an inscription with a date, and initials on the back]. Fantastic workmanship is obvious in this exquisitely crafted heirloom quality ladies timepiece set with approximately 2 ct. total weight of Diamonds. As you can see in the details, it is just amazing. A lot of care went into creating this watch. The work underneath the face in particular is fantastic. Brand is Merimont. Diamond bezel approximately 56mm length from lug to lug. 19mm wide w/o crown. Diamond studded crown. Length overall 6 inches with some stretch in bracelet attachments. Bracelet attachments are also platinum. I had my jeweler add a bit additional length via a stainless steel clasp because it was a bit tight for comfort. Safety chain is stainless steel. Total Weight: 25.6 grams. Face has darkened somewhat over the past year. The watch has always been stored in its box. Comes with what I assume is the original box. This is a stunning collector's piece of late Deco history. Entirely crafted of 90/10 Platinum-Iridium and covered with high quality diamonds. Yes, it could use a careful cleaning; however, the inner workings of the watch do need to be removed for extensive cleaning. Do not submerse in liquid or expose to overly damp environments. The serial numbers in the 17 jewel workings confirm its creation in Switzerland 1936. Omega really didn't craft dress watches...this is truly something you'll not see and it is in fine working original condition. The diamonds are E-F in color and VVS in clarity. Very, very high quality; and total approx 2.4CTW. The pave diamonds on the bezel are beautifully faceted transitional cuts; as are the two larger (0.5CTW). The diamonds on the platinum bracelet are also extremely high quality; though are single cuts, each measuring approx 2.2mm. The watch weighs 19.5g and is 6.5' in length--can be shortened. I no longer wear it because of my type of work now so I have decided to let it be worn by someone new as it needs to be worn This is the Baume et Mercier Linea watch series and is 65305 with the Reflective dial in silver--very sleek looking and not too flashy The retail is 1990.00 I like a smaller bezel and this one is 25mm- stainless steel, 7.2mm case thickness that I measured with manual calipers and online for this retail says 7.8 so I am close Screw down back with four screws- quartz movement Battery operated and in great working condition--I just had this looked at and the battery replaced..everthing is okay Serial number is visible with all Baume et Mercier logos 3392021 The glass surface has a scratch near the top but you have to get up on it and start twisting it in the light to see it but I disclose everything and I was quoted 40 to replace it with glass there and not send it off to Baume and Mercier but I am not sure what your jeweler will charge--I am selling as it is though and the scratch is reflected in the price There is also scuffs on the metal that can be buffed out I just never had it done because I it never bothered me but you will want to take it to get cleaned up as there are signs of use I measured this watch at right at 6.5inches around while I had it closed on my wrist. I do not have the extra links anymore to size it up but they can be bought anywhere this is sold or ordered and it is cheaper than buying a new one! This nifty Bulova watch evokes elements of the Edwardian, but blunts them in a characteristically mid-century fashion: the chevrons on the bracelet suggest it, but the serial number on the back pegs it at 1950 exactly. The depth and three-dimensionality of the case create a wonderful visual richness, and the hand craftsmanship is as crisp today as it was then. Made of 14k white gold and delicately chased, engraved, milgrained, and studded with single or full cut diamonds, it is in fabulous shape, coming with its original 14k bracelet and original blue velvet case. It has just been serviced. The bracelet is 6.5 inches, and easily sizable for a smaller wrist. I am selling my beloved Cartier mid-size Tank watch. I have lovingly cared for this watch, however have not worn this in a number of years, as I now tend to only wear 18k yellow gold jewelry, and do not care to mix metals. I am including the original sales receipt, updated Cartier appraisal from 2011 (paid $100 for this for insurance purposes), inner box, with all original paperwork, and outer white box.
