Purchased from another PSer as white gold (ring is not stamped). Took to my jeweler for testing/appraisal. Ring is platinum, 4.4 g. Stone is a very pretty 5mm I/VS2 (GIA standards) OEC surrounded by single cuts (included under loupe, but eye clean and sparkly). Size 8.

Asking $600 to cover shipping and cost of evaluation /testing. Replacement value $1500.
