The wedding band is platinum, with a customized knife-edge back and beautiful prongs designed by a jeweler who specializes in vintage jewelry. The wedding band is white gold, with a matching band designed by the same jeweler. Both rings are a size 4, making the size of this set and the diamond a great size. Comes with box. If you're going to the Met Gala or similar, you'll need this one... This is serious glamour, right here. A little bit retro and a lot of impact. The stone is lusciously yellow and the cut makes the most of the color. It was graded in-house as Y-Z and far be it from me to contradict David, but I think that's a bit harsh personally. I assumed fancy light yellow when I saw it. In the photos, I see almost a hint of orange, but in real life, it's definitely yellow. The ring isn't brand new, although it has been professionally cleaned and carefully checked over, so it's indistinguishable from brand new. The halo has 0.81cttw of nice, crisp white diamonds, all set in 18kt yellow gold. It's a pave halo, so not for gardening or lifting weights in, but it's pretty robust for this type of ring.
