I'm selling off some of my right-handed rings to fund a new project. The ring was manufacturered by Diamonds By Lauren (DBL) and has a 2.83 ct light yellow radiant center that is graded by GIA for color as a Y-Z. David graded the clarity as SI-2. It is a strong Y-Z, as seen next to my Fancy Light Yellow Marquise (not for sale) in the photo below. There is no basket below the diamond to enhance the color (see side shot below). This is a very saturated stone. It measures 7.92 mm X 7.57 mm X 5.03 mm. The depth of the diamond is 66%, and the length-to-width ratio is 1.05 to 1, essentially a square stone. The radiant is flanked by two trilliant shaped diamonds totaling .56 cts, graded by David as D color and SI clarity. The ring is 18 kt yellow gold and platinum, with the yellow gold supporting the center diamond and holding it in place with dual prongs at each corner. This is a nicely colored true rhodolite garnet. It is a nice raspberry red with some pinkish/purple/red flashes. It has a small cloud of needle inclusions that make the stone more glowy than bright and flashy. It has a nice overall color in all light. There's a close up photo showing the needles. It could probably still be considered eye clean unless you know what you're looking for. It is in a Sterling silver setting with assumed CZs in a halo. The ring is size 7. Garnet is 7x9mm and 2.67ct. This is a stunner. This heavy (10g!) platinum setting is smooth as butter and has the most beautiful detail on it. The milgrain is hard to see without a macro lens, it's so fine. The center stone is a .47 I colored VS transitional diamond, and sparkles like crazy. It's a wonderful performer, and because of the way it's set down *just* below that milgrain, the surrounding metal acts like a mirror spraying rainbows everywhere. There are 8 additional diamonds on the ring. You'll see them at the four corners of the square head, and one on each side of the head as well. It is a size 7.75, and is slightly out of round. The shank is quite heavy-3mm or so at the narrowest point. It could certainly be resized, or rounded out. I am asking $1000.00, which includes shipping and insurance in the US. This makes a fabulous right hand ring OR engagement ring. The details make it extremely unique and lovely.
