a rare treasure, a heavy antique signet ring that was not engraved beautiful elegant and classic oval shape
beautiful shine and glow on this antique old gold ring marked “18K” with a purity mark typically seen during the 1890’s - 1930’s (Victorian — Edwardian period)
This simple gold ring is full of subtle elegance, with an impressive, plain signet setting that melts into the shoulders, a comfortable band and a substantial weight. It has an undeniable presence on the finger, made so by its sheer size and mirror finish (so reflective you can see your reflection - which made it difficult to photograph!).
The face of the ring is quite large and the band follows suit. size 8 3/4 US (on a Durston mandrel) and can be sized by your local jeweler
ring weighs about 9.7g in solid 18k gold — a substantial heirloom piece
