Very beautiful, authentic, antique ring setting. The ring setting has lovely scrolling engravings around the basket and down the shank. It is hallmarked 750 for 18k white gold. Beautiful quality and condition, some average signs of wear. The prongs are a little bent in some areas, will most likely need some retipping.. The ring size is a snug 5.5, maybe a bit smaller. The weight is about 2.85 grams. It should hold a round stone in the 9-10mm range. I think a rose cut or shallow cut stone would work beautifully as the setting sits very low to the hand.
