An incredible oval diamond in a glorious color! This is an elegant style with a lot of personality in the centre stone. The stone is graded Fancy Brownish Yellow / SI1 by the GIA – I can see honey and cognac tones in certain lights, but mostly just lovely yellow shades. What I cannot see is the inclusion that earned it SI1 grade. Even looking at it next to the plot on the GIA cert, I struggle to find it. To me, it looks eye clean and it's beautifully cut, throwing off bold flashes of color. The stone measures 8.86mm x 5.70mm – it’s an fairly elongated oval shape. This ring was a trade-up, but I guarantee that it looks like a brand new ring, because it has been totally refurbished. To all intents and purposes, it is a new ring. The 18kt yellow gold semi-bezel works really well with the shape and personality of the stone, showing it off to its best advantage. The shank is also 18kt, but in white gold. The ring is currently sized at 4.5 but could be re-sized to some extent, for an additional cost. I’m offering this really cool ring for $3900.
